I like the cinema at the Palms -easy and free to get to (use the free shuttle from Bills to the Gold Coast and cross the road) and has IMAX. Casino there isn't bad either.

There's a new Metro McDonald's just opened at midnight at the Harmon junction. Red carpet, show girls and celebs serving between midnight and 4am. Just been and there was a night club in full swing to celebrate the opening.

Gordon Ramsay Steak opens at Paris on 11 May, but there is a soft opening from 7 May so we have booked.

Will try to remember. We are going on Tuesday as we already have dinner reservations for Monday.

There are no menus yet and they didn't expect to have them finalised until Monday which is leaving things a bit late. I did see that there should be things like Shepherd's pie and fish and chips, but I am intending having steak as I wouldn't pay Gordon Ramsay prices for Shepherd's pie.

Luci, was it difficult getting a booking at Steak. We're arriving Monday evening and staying at Paris and I'd love to surprise my husband with a reservation for later in the week. Can you remember the opening times, just dinner or lunch/brunch menu as well?

I just called Restaurant Reservations from the room as we were staying at a CET property. I think I called on Tuesday.

There was a crowd of people behind ropes at the restaurant so we spoke to them. Turned out they were the new staff and we were told that the soft opening had been kept quiet as the media have been told the opening is on 11 May. We only knew it was open earlier as there was a sign near the restaurant.

I had called a couple of weeks before we left and was told 11 May, nothing about an earlier opening.

Go onto https://www.parislasvegas.com and click on Dining as I'm not sure of the opening hours, etc.
