VALUE FOR MONEYGot 2 tix for Rod for $169 inc taxes from ticket master for sept 19th , believe me you do not want the "best , read expensive seats , expect a sore neck next day"
As a sound engineer , I know that the best view / sound is always just behind the mixing desk . ie upper middle.I eat time share touts for breakfast 2 for 10 -
Checked into Caesars Palace today and mentioned it was my birthday. Had got a great rate on an Augustus Tower room and was hoping for a high floor with a view of the fountains.
The girl said she could do me something nice for my birthday, an Executive Suite!
It is massive at over 1000 sq ft. There is a huge chandelier above the dining table, a large cloakroom, huge lounge with L-shaped sofa and chaise longe and 2 large windows with a view up the strip. Large bedroom and the bed had a pillow top mattress, dressing room, small hall and huge bathroom with twin sinks, jacuzzi tub, toilet in a separate room and a shower with 4 shower heads.
Think I scored here.0 -

When we stayed at the Cosmo they were big on upgrading guests at a cost, doing the big sell as soon as we got to the desk. We had booked a Terrace Suite, which we were very happy about, but they made it sound like it was going to be tiny and tried to sell us an upgrade to a Wraparound Suite. They quoted us $150, we asked if this was for the total stay (3 nights) and he laughed and said no, $150 extra per night. I smiled and said as it was our honeymoon was there no chance of a complimentary upgrade, he went and spoke to his manager and said he could do it for $90 extra per night. We declined, it wasnt worth the $270 more (it was only another $140 to book the wraparound with Virgin!). He then went in a huff with us as he wasnt getting his sale. We were soooo happy with the Terrace Suite as it was massive, had amazing views of the fountains and more than enough space for us.
My Mum had booked a Terrace Studio for her and my little brother, they also did the hard sell on her and she paid an extra $150 to be upgraded to a One Bedroom with fountain views. When they got up to the room there was only one double bed, she needed two. She went back to the reception and they said they would need to charge for another bed??! After moving rooms a couple of times she ended up having to get the upgrade refunded and went back to her original booking, which was lovely!!
I dont think there is a bad room in the Cosmo, even if you dont get an upgrade!Lucky wins - Rituals Beauty Advent Calendar; Starbucks Coffee & £20 Gift Card; Amazing Hen Weekend at Dunblane Hydro; Heat Magazine Book Bundle; Le Crueset Goodies :j
Wishing everyone some magic fairy pixie dust for luck!0 -
