in the next month or so, if anyone is passing by and spots the price of Peepshow @ one of the ticket offices (Tix4Tonite etc etc), can you let me know? :)

(are there also 'hidden' fees on top of their prices too? I forget?!)

there is a service charge per ticket - I can't remember how much but seems like $6 last time we used them, maybe?

but you can print a coupon for $2 off that (or they are in a lot of the free magazines).

    Hi All,

Hoping you can help... I'm going to Vegas for the first time in November. We've booked with Thomas Cook as it worked out cheaper that booking separate, and going for 7 nights (sat - sat) staying at the Luxor.

In the paperwork there is no mention of the resort fee to pay when we get there, and I queried it with Thomas Cook who said if it wasn't in the paperwork, it wouldn't be applicable. Do we not have to pay it because we booked through an agency, or is it that we're going for 7 nights?? or should I expect to pay it when we get there?

    Thanks

Here's a question for you guys. I'm going to Vegas soon and was thinking of picking up a replica watch over there. Any places to recommend?
  • Hi people, just after some quick info with regard to actually travelling to Las Vegas

My partner is travelling to Las Vegas via Detroit, but is it correct that when arriving in Detroit her checked in baggage will not be automatically be placed onto her forward flight to Las Vegas. Can anyone tell me the exact procedure that she will have to follow on arrival at Detroit including US immigration matters. She has a three hour stop over so timing should not be a problem.

We've cocked up slightly on booking her return journey as she flies via Cincinnatti where she has just under an hours transfer time and then Atlanta back to Heathrow, but I am led to believe that her baggage on the way back will automatically be transferred to her forwarding flights. Both outward and return journeys are with Delta airlines.

If anyone else has travelled these routes and can offer an insight or pointers I would be most grateful, she is being met at Las Vegas so that is not a problem.

    Thanks in anticipation..

    .

Never changed at Detroit, but the general procedure outward is collect bag, go thru customs, then look for the "connecting flight bag drop" which should be close.

Baggage going back should be checked straight through if its one ticket/booking.

No personal experience, but from what I've read, a lot of people booking with 3rd parties have the resort fee appear on their final bill - some haven't...where it has been charged, some have argued that it doesn't appear on their paperwork so they should not have to pay it and have had it removed.

If you wanted to, you could check your bill on the telly (most Vegas hotels have this option) after your first night and see if the resort fee appears...then if it does and you want to sort it out before you are getting ready to leave, you could do.
