O'Sheas closes down at midday local time today.

Such a shame, where am i gonna get Burger King from now? ;)

Not going till October this year so it will be long gone by the time we do.
Im sure the Linq project will be worth it tho.
Its about time the Imperial Palace was spruced up a bit.
I love playing there but it smells of stale smoke and the missus moans.
Smells like an old pub used to

Hi all,is anybody able to tell me if matt goss will still be performing at the gossy rooms in ceasars in june, been looking at ticketmaster and theres no tickets for sale from the end of may.

I think he has another 2 years left on his contract with Caesars. Ticket master put the dates on in bulk - and haven't put any dates after May so you may find they go on sale in the next couple of weeks.

We had tickets to go see him in April, but the show was cancelled at the last minute. I see he has cancelled this weekends shows too!

I have to admit, that I really don't like the way you have to get into the IP. It's like the taxi drivers like to play a game of human skittles with you.
Saying that, when we went last year, we did rather well in the IP. Think we came out of there $250 up. And I think it's cleaner than Harrahs. Harrahs has become a bit of a dump!!

Oh, and why has O'Sheas closed? Is it a sign of the times?

OSheas was closing as part of the Caesars redevelopment of that part of the strip.

Sounds interesting, but does the Strip really need another shopping/resturant place? I wasn't all that keen on that one next to the Cosmo TBH. Like the idea of a observation wheel though, that will be good.

Yes he performs every friday and saturday night and is contracted for the next 2 years. He is normally always on unless contracted to do something else, this weekend he is performing at the nevada ballet theatre. Have seen the show in vegas twice its great you will love it, I'm a big fan though so could be a bit biased!!
  • Could anyone recommend a day trip to the Grand Canyon? We want to go to the South Rim, so it's looks like it's easier to get to by air (and an air tour would be a great way to end our holiday). I've been looking at the air tours on Viator.com- has anyone booked one of these, or used any other booking sites or tour companies they'd recommend? Alternatively, the pink jeep tours look good and have good reviews, but looks like a very long day.
    Thanks :)

    VALUE FOR MONEY
Thanks Luci, appreciate the update on the rooms and also the walk times. It seems fairly central for being off strip. Pizza might be collected in the car from EI though - there's something about those small dingy casinos lol. The food is pretty good though and very sensibly priced. And the coupons for free drinks go down well too.

I wish I was there now. Very jealous. Still got about 18 weeks to wait.

We had a flyer for a pizza place shoved under our door and they deliver if that would be any good?
