I can't eat much for a few days after long haul so just went to Denny's where service was slow as usual.

    .

We went to Dennys for the first time a couple of weeks ago, the service wasnt just slow it was almost non existent, I had to ask for someone to take our order as we had been sat down for about 15 minutes and no one had been to even ask about drinks!!
Wont go there again as there are many better options.

this was the one on the strip next to harrahs

We were at the one opposite Monte Carlo. When it first opened there was a waitress there that normally worked at the one next to Casino Royale and she told us it was the busiest one in the US. We have seen huge queues there in the morning and have only used that one a couple of times.

We did originally go for bfast but we saw the huge queue that you mention so walked away, we ended up going for dinner early evening, no queue and plenty of free tables, hate to think what the service is like at breakfast!

    HOTELS
    Great TR Gill247 :T

    Phantom
We bought our tickets via Travelzoo for $66 each - front row balcony seats which were fantastic.

I've done exactly the same thing for my Bro\Sis in law and Mrs ;)
Sound like the same seats too!

They really want to go (all seen it in London) but I was afraid it would be a let down due to the shortened version. Sounds like it's OK

Anyone confirm VA will be using the new terminal 3 when it opens in June?
I hear it will have a casino style area with slots etc but you will be able to smoke there too :)

hiya, we go to vegas on friday!!!! I was thinking of a limo tour to do the sights. I had a look at presidential limos and cannot find anything near $60? how do you get it for this price please xxx

edit: actually think i have found it. stretch limo $64 + $5 fuel surcharge for an hour. will they take us to all the sights? when is the best time to book? I am thinking of sun or mon early evening or when it starting to get dark so we can see all the lights?

    What are your thoughts please?

    SHOWS
Landed last night with BA at 7pm. Managed to snag a pair of seats at the back at the 24 hour check in and they were great, enough leg room and space at the side to dump stuff. Would consider paying the £30 each to book them in advance

Glad you got the seats Luci, patience paid off !! Next time I'm paying the extra to get them, but not this year as I'm Vegassed out.

That said I nearly booked US Airways flights who has decent prices (£520 but now gone) for the last week in August. ;) I still have a wee check once a week but Italian Lakes now look more likely. Enjoy your trip

It was Presidential Limos we booked with - stretch limo for 1 hour. We booked online a couple of days before we left - just filled out the online form of where we wanted picked up (our hotel) and where we wanted dropped off (the restaurant) and where we wanted to go via (the welcome to Las Vegas sign). We arranged to be picked up at 7.30pm as we checked online ans saw sunset was approx 7.15pm that week as we wanted to see all the lights, and as we have done the sign during the day before we thought it would be cool to get snaps after dark.
I got an email from them earlier that day confirming and the driver was right on time. He was happy to take us to the sign, wait while we got photos then took us up the strip, then doubled back to take us along Flamingo to the restaurant.
Hope you get something booked - it was really good fun!!
Lucky wins - Rituals Beauty Advent Calendar; Starbucks Coffee & £20 Gift Card; Amazing Hen Weekend at Dunblane Hydro; Heat Magazine Book Bundle; Le Crueset Goodies :j

Wishing everyone some magic fairy pixie dust for luck!

thank you, I think I might do this as it will be something exciting for my little girl and we will see things (like the sign and the whole strip) that we wouldnt of otherwise been able to do because we are there such a short time. are there any other sights we should ask to see as well as the sign?

We are also thinking of getting a taxi up to the bellagio one evening to see the fountains and have dinner up there for a change.
