Anyone confirm VA will be using the new terminal 3 when it opens in June?
I hear it will have a casino style area with slots etc but you will be able to smoke there too :)

All international airlines, including VS and BA will use the new terminal. T2 will be closed.

thank you, I think I might do this as it will be something exciting for my little girl and we will see things (like the sign and the whole strip) that we wouldnt of otherwise been able to do because we are there such a short time. are there any other sights we should ask to see as well as the sign?

We are also thinking of getting a taxi up to the bellagio one evening to see the fountains and have dinner up there for a change.

If you get them to take you down to the sign, then as far North as the Wynn or maybe even the Stratosphere, before heading back down South again, then you will see most of the sights of the strip.

If you want to save some $$ and not pay for taxis to and from the Bellagio. Then if you cross the road from MGM into Monte Carlo, then get on their tram straight to Bellagio. It would probably take you 10-20 mins from your hotel to the fountains and you will see alot on the way. I'm sure your little girl will love seeing the fountains!!

Also for her, next door to MGM you have M&M World and CocaCola World, you can get photos with giant M&Ms and the giant CocaCola Polar Bear - and upstairs at CocaCola world they do great Coke Floats at good prices!
Lucky wins - Rituals Beauty Advent Calendar; Starbucks Coffee & £20 Gift Card; Amazing Hen Weekend at Dunblane Hydro; Heat Magazine Book Bundle; Le Crueset Goodies :j

Wishing everyone some magic fairy pixie dust for luck!

Went to Denny's opposite the Monte Carlo for breakfast. I had the stack of 2 pancakes, but could only manage to eat one, hubby had the Grand Slam. Service was much better than last night. Used a $5 off $20 spend coupon I found in a magazine.

Used the Clarity card at CVS and despite spending $132 I wasn't asked for ID. Used it to get cash at the ATM at the top of M&M World, $2 fee.

Tix4Tonight had Absinthe at $69 + service charge which I can never remember is $4 or $6 a ticket. Wandered up to Caesars and found the guy handing out $20 off coupons. We had planned to go on Tues, but noticed the show was cancelled that night. The guy said it is because the show has just been made permanent for 5 years and they are making changes to the set. Got the tickets at the box office there for Thurs for $69 + tax as we could choose our seats. Managed to get seats right behind the VIP row which I think are $30 more expensive. Picked up Elton John tickets.

Hubby wanted to see Dancing with the Stars, but they have cancelled the afternoon shows so we've had a change of plan and should be going on Monday since Divas cancelled on us that night.

Had dinner at Biscayne at the Tropicana with a Groupon coupon. It was for 2 entrees and 2 glasses of wine, but our server said they just take $98 off the total so you can choose anything. Hubby had lobster bisque and the 18oz rib eye, I had the 8oz filet mignon and we shared a couple of sides. He had wine as they only do bottled beer, not draught and I had a cocktail which was delicious. Service was excellent

Signed up for the player's club to use the $50 slot play coupons we got for $25. Cashed out at $60 up between us with $50 still left to play.

Did well on Clue at Bally's earlier, played for a couple of hours and still cashed out $120 from $25.

Remember that the fountains normally start at 3pm at the weekend and 7pm during the week so that you don't have a wasted journey.

So to confirm, its reserved seats now for Absinthe? That's new isn't it for the cheap seats?

Good stuff. Never fancied the idea of it being a free for all :)

I'd actually just walk I think - as if you take the tram you'll still have to make your way back out the front of the property for the fountains...walking from MGM isn't far and will put you in the right place.

glad you had a good journey there, Luci...may have to check out the Tropicana promo you mention - we signed up years and years ago but probably long enough that we are off their system and the promo you mention sounds intriguing!

Yes, the prices went up from $79 to $89 on 24 April, but it is all now reserved seating which is much better. VIP is $119 for the 2nd and 3rd rows and VVIP which is the first row with cushioned seats and champagne.
