  • one of our ddbs that we bought recently from a breeder who also breeds bulldogs had never ever been on a lead also had entropian in his eyes

we paid 1k for him cos we fell in love with the moment we saw him

but we also had to pay 400 for an operation on his eyes and 200 to have in castrated

breeders like the one we bought hooker from make me sick they had him advertised as stud /show dog ( we just wanted another ddb as a family pet) but as breeder they should have known that you can breed or show a dog with entropian

luckily we have him now hes settled in brilliantly with our other 5 dogs and we love him to bits

    Iof clamping down on it.

Descriptions like this are all too common on there:

What sort of person takes a dog, sticks it outdoors in a kennel with no interaction and no walks and then abandons the poor thing when its useful purpose is gone.

Please be warned if you do read that site, be prepared to shed a tear or two. Many Tears deserve a medal they really do.

2 of my friends have Presa Canario - one each.

Both very slight built girls, tiney really (the owners) but both dogs are so well brought up it is impossible to describe...

Another one has a Cane Corso, took him in when he was about a year old, full of very, VERY bad habits, took her a year to get that dog sorted and safe around other people/dogs but she knew what she was taking on and was prepared and able to put the work/effort into her dog...
