  • I loved Ivor - I had a video of it which I watched all the time. It had an episode where Ivor got some doves down from a roof, and another where he found an elephant that had been injured. I am only 28 though so it cant be 'that' old!

Hello all!Still struggling to view MSE pages properly at work and never seem to have time in an evening. There were loads of pages to catch up on this morning, so much so I've forgotten what most of you have been up to, sorry!Kerri - well done on quitting to start a new job.Idris - so are we in the midst of a celeb then?Jemma - things sound more positivesuzitiger - good to 'ave you back, hope you find a H soonAntonia - my close friends know about my debt and we talk about our debts quite openly. DH doesn't though and I don't think any of his friends know about our debts. Haven't told any of our family. Definitely wouldn't discuss it with a colleague unless they were a good friend.Still no debtbusting but on the positive side, no spending either :-)keep debtbusting xxx

  • I was born in 76 and ivor and bagpuss were mainstays of my childhood!
Oh and I tried my bargain babyliss big hair hobby and OH MY DAYS I have salon hair. In about 20 minutes. For £20 outlay forever!!! I have paid £22 for a blow-dry before a night out before I am chuffed
Can I just clarify, as reading my own posts I'm starting to come across as a right Jordan lol. The blow-dried hair is pillar box red and black to set off my beautiful tattoos ;)

Well done Kerry!! You go girl
I have an avatar! That, my friends, is idris the dragon. He is from Ivor the Engine. Anyone else fancy showing their age and admitting to remembering him?

I remember ivor the engine :o but wasnt a big fan, it was postman pat for me, I used to drag my mother home by one arm after preschool to watch it. But this is the days of when he was single, with no kids and it was acceptable to hang around at the school with the kids :rotfl:

I also liked Puddle Lane but am now not sure if it was just a book or if I really do remember them on the tv  but of course you'll never top Wordy and the magic E song :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Postman Pat has kids? Whatever next!!! It's the farmers market today and I put my remaining purse money in my sealed pot last night, feeling quite smug about that as means I can't spend it :)
