  • Well... I made £390 on eBay. But then my laptop died, and I went and bought one for £400 - I use it loads. I'm not really out of pocket, but it still is depressing!

I had to spend all my ebay profits on the private doctor... as you say, not out of pocket but rather annoying!!

Has anyone else claimed back their PPI or tried to do a SAR without an account number quite tempted to do it all, but no account numbers!

I did it without numbers, just call the bank you think it was with and ask them. They ended up giving me two loan numbers and about 6 cc numbers to try with, got £4200 back.

  • Very glad you are still with us Jakes'Mum :)

Jemma - I understand you must feel hurt about your boss/friend's role in this but she may have had 'orders from above' and it's difficult nowadays with the credit crunch to stand up for other people at work in case you put your own job at risk. I was in a situation a few years back when my boss, who I got on really well with, had to tell me I needed to reapply for my own job during a restructure - she actually cried while she was telling me - I ended up comforting her .

I work for a small company, I can hear when my management b!!!! about me! lol! It has it's pro's and cons! I am so used to the negative comments that it shocks me when they say something nice!

Last review had the bitter last taste of the comment: you're such a nice looking girl, you should work on your appearance, maybe do something nice with your hair and put on a bit of make up...

    what?!

just call them... the very fact that you don't know is good cause for a complaint if you do have it!! also ask about past loans and credit cards, my loans were from 6 or so years ago :)

It is honestly much easier than you think, I kept putting it off and putting it off, but they are getting so many complaints they have a system to deal with them now. Do it before time runs out! x
