Well... I made £390 on eBay. But then my laptop died, and I went and bought one for £400 - I use it loads. I'm not really out of pocket, but it still is depressing!

    How economising affect my life.

Just gone to get shower in my former life I would one razor in the en suite and one in the bathroom, not use one and end up being rusty! So my economising mode says use one and move it!

Just forgot to move it! Cue neighbours probably being put off their tea and wet feet marks from ensuite to bathroom and back again. All for a blumming razor!

Feel free to have a good laugh as I think we could all do with one sometimes!

Oh excellent thank you :) so I need to find out my interest rate now and see if there's any decent fixed rates left out there. I'm sure I can do without my £10 for at least 2 years.

well DD comes down the stairs with a book which she waves under my nose saying 'read it read it!' I look and realise shes got the book I bought at a book fair in 1989 (at 9 years old) for the grand sum of £2.95, that is signed by the author and I thought at the time might be worth a fortune in my old age (see miserly from a very early age).

well decide i'll pop it in 'the box' in the loft out of harms way, up the ladder i go, step to the side of the hatch, straighten up and smack my head on a sawn off beam nailed to the roof struts! stagger backwards, wobble over the hatch and perform what can only be classed as the most awesome self preservation hand grasp onto the struts ever seen  Not only did I stop myself falling through the hatch with eyes shut throgh pain, I didnt even drop the book  and still put it away in the box before climbing down and going 'oooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwww' :o

Worst part was, I could feel a huge dent where wood connected with skull, call Jake into bathroom to look, show him big red line running down top of head, say 'can you see anything?' and he replies 'yeah, that big spot in your hairline' and went back to his computer game

Head and ear are quite sore now :o and mate is saying she wished she had been there so she could have recorded it and put it on youtube :rotfl:

Hey everyone, I've felt like I've had a limb removed with not having any internet until about 30mins ago and have just been catching up cars and Isa etc.

Thanks everyone for your lovely messages about work. I filled in my new "time and motion" spreadsheet recording my day including filling up my water bottle and going to the ladies! I got loads done today but missed being on here... Ah well, needs must at the moment. Not amused when I got home to find still no internet and my mum is at my grandma's so couldn't use her smart phone and I can't upgrade to one until May! It's hard sitting at work thinking I'm being watched and having to prove I'm working but there are far worse things that could happen so I'm trying to take it all in my stride.

I need to pick my mum up soon and then nip to Asda to get some lunch stuff for next two days so I'm hoping to do a bit of research into my business venture when I get back but I also need to do some exercise tonight as I didn't feel at all like doing it last night. My friend at work got weighed on Monday at SW and lost 7lbs in a week!!! I know she is a lot bigger than me (6 sizes - she's lost loads though and so proud of her) but it's still annoying that I keep yoyo-ing despite the exercise...
