need your opinions ladies and gentlemen. I have a gorgeous 9 month old daughter who has always had far too many clothes ( nearly all second hand but in great nick ) Ive been keeping them all as we plan on having another when she's three or four in case we have another girl but my mum says better to sell them now as they'll be out of fashion when we have our next. What do you think ?
I'd pick out anything that will date and chuck it on fleabay. There are a lot of clothes now that are similar to what we wore as children, just depends on the "in" colour. Neutral colours you'd be fine with :) Babygrows, onesies, I'd keep as although not expensive don't age over time. I'd sort through what you want to keep, and if you have too much for one child fleabay the rest :)

  • I feel like crying - I had been renting out my garage which would have taken care of half the payments I needed to make so I could pay off my credit card in 3 years but the person has pulled out. this means I have no way of making enough money and it is going to take at least 5 years to pay off my debt. All the dreams I had created to happen in 3 or 4 years time have blown away. I now need to make £50 a month payments for the next 20 months just to clear a grand. Sometimes life sucks :-(

i've left the beans for up to 18 hours in the past and also only soaked them for 8 hours - with no problems either way. Good luck!

Wow, I've only missed today and there's been an extra five pages!! Either the site is really busy or my computer is being silly because it won't let me change the page.

We've been doing ok at the food challenge so far I've only bought packed lunch stuff, bread and toilet roll so £12 spend up to now. I'm still hoping to pay my bank loan off in January but whether I'll hit my target on the others is doubtful because of the tax bill (£650) we have looming at the end of the month. I'm looking forward to and dreading all my bills going out this month but I'm hoping to make my big payment on the tenth and suspect I may have a breakdown after I've done it......I've been saving for five months lol I've had 3 NSD's this week and will try for another tomorrow.

Melwinnie welcome to the boards mf0u will assign you a number later when she updates the totals.

But I have just set up a payment of 301.01 to go out of my account on payday to pay off that First Direct card I've been harping on about! Should I count it as a payment now or wait till payday to declare it?

Personally I'd wait until it had left my account....just in case :o

Hello....not sure if this is how I join!?

I've added up my debts and want to pay off £12,733.04 by xmas 2012. This is going to be a hard challenge but I'm desperate to do it as I'm 32 this year and want to be debt free and on the property ladder by the time I'm 35.

Welcome aboard richjames, I'm sure you'll manage it and with the support on this site I bet you clear it well before you're 35!

Not sure if it'll help anyone else, but I've started unsubscribing from newsletters that try to make me spend money. So it was byebye to Mr T, Harrods (only in a sale for cheap underwears), freemans, etc

It's funny you should say this but I've just started sending everything straight to the junk folder without opening it :)

Things can always change and often a solution isn't far away. Just take a few deep breaths (and have a cry if you need to - works for me!) then tomorrow start thinking about what else can be done.

Read this - some great ideas! ( . .and an MSEr too!)
