Kerri I LOVE CK I never thought of looking for fabric in that lovely Swedish shop :rotfl: I want the ck throw for the bed but at £150  my OH put his foot down and rightly so. So i was thinking of making a patch work one with different material :j

Your photos of your made items are lovely again..... very jealous, think the sewing machine will be out today so I can practice.
Aw thank you :) I was looking at the blue polka dot pillowcases in the sale and trying to work out how much it costs me in fabric at £12 a metre vs how much I'd need. I reckon for the cost of 1 in the sale I can make 2! Trying to price up how much the duvet would be, and thinking £24.... does this sound about right for a CK duvet? 2m of fabric folded in half sew each edge and finish the 3rd with handmade buttons :)

Ooh whilst I'm thinking MSE'y I reckon I could cheat, get a cheaper non CK fabric for the underside of the duvet, therefore CK duvet for £12 ooooh where's the lightbulb smiley?

All this talk of CK and I've gone and ordered some oilcloth that was in the sale and matching cotton. £21 that's my spending money for this week gone, and some of next week as I had to pay for postage, oh well I'll have something to make this weekend :)

I did TCB it though for 6.18% cashback :)

    Afternoon all.

This afternoon I have put in a claim for PPI with Welcome Finance - its an old claim from 2003 so I am not too sure if it will go through but I am keeping my fingers crossed. Its about £2.5k so it would be a nice amount if it is successful.
