I've decided i must be a real cheapskate as ive made everything for lilys birthday party and have only spent about £70 which includes the £30 for the hall hire :o We should have roughly 20 kids coming as well

You aren't a cheapskate, you are making good use of your time and skills :D I'd give anything to have time and patience to sit and sew or knit things... it's called 'make do and mend' and is a hell of a lot cheaper then buying from shops :)

Money has cleared vanquis today so I can pay Wescott when I get home *happy dance* will update my total when I've actually done it though.
Have taken in a big thing of last nights pasta today, a piece of flapjack and a piece of the brownie I made yummy! Now just to avoid the crisps and chocolate cupboards eep. Will take home my contract this evening for a good read of whether I'll lose my bonus by quitting before a certain date :)

Good Morning DFW's...WELCOME TO ALL THE NEW DFW'S - I'M A NEWBIE TOO AND ITS A GREAT FORUM - I'M SURE YOU WILL FEEL SUPPORTED AND ENCOURAGED LIKE ME!!!

kerri_dfw thanks for Tuesday's mini-challenge. We are living off cheese and biscuits, home made soups, frozen veg and pulses!

I havent any debt paid off to report - but I have saved money on school shoes I would have normally bought in the past for my DD (at least £40 as she's a narrow and shallow fitting) I looked at her old pair and cleaned them up and they are shining like new again - she popped them on and wiggled her toes - hey presto they still fit her.

some more payments and have £400 im keeping in the bank til end of month (worried incase i run out of money as on zero pay maternity ) but back to work on 23rd am in officially on hols from 31/12 so will get a full months wages so hopefully pay about £800 to CC's.

    xmas 2012 #43 £568.05/£8000.

Also my total debt is actaully nearly £13K, not sure if I should change target to that. I set it at 8k as realistically can pay off 7k this year so thought i'd push it to 8k but now think maybe I should just put full debt on. What do you think ?
#28 pay all your debts by Xmas 2019 £2682/7000:)
    #66 2019 MFW £90/£7500
