  • I've made a couple more payments to the cc but waiting for interest to be added to OD and CU loan which will bump it back over 6k... I'd forgotten to take these into account :( Am now panicking slightly about the next 2 paydays as I've just been signed off for another 2 weeks, no flying means no money.... argh! But I have listed books on green metropolis today, slowly getting CV done for temping, booked onto another mystery shopper job for next week and am planning on getting a pile together for ebay over the next couple of weeks so hopefully that will help a teeny bit.

Just finished making pasta with stuff from cupboards, brownies from a betty crocker packet I bought months ago, and the biggest flapjack in the world. It's the size of a victoria sponge cake, and it's circular. I'll have to find a photo.

anything remotely maths-y makes me scared!

While I'm here I might as well check in with you all :) Waves to everyone.
Hope everyone is ok and the weathers not too bad where you are. I have had a spendy couple of days BUT BUT BUT it was ALL real money, no credit and the only money Ive really spent over the festive period. I bought a sewing machine at last !! A very MSE one at £74.99 reduced from £149.99 and hopefully eventually I will be able to make some money making stuff (ambitious! moi? LOL). I also bought two massive yankee candle jars in Debenhams BUT they were 50% off, and an extra 10% off in store AND my friends staff discount 30% so I got 2 of the biggest size jars for about £8 for both!! Usually they are over £20 EACH. I also bought some place mats and coasters for STUPID reductions and a sewing book for £2.99. I also got an Organised Mum diary (usually about £15) for £4.99 in the Works. I then went to Lush just on the off chance they had any Xmas stuff still and they DID! they had LOADS so I got £80 worth of bath stuff for £38. That will do me for MONTHS. I do like to treat myself with their stuff but its SO expensive now so I am happy to have got bargains.
ALso town was so vile I have totally put myself off shopping for a while. My youngest is off to nursery 5 mornings a week as of tomorrow so Operation Time For Me (aka Sort My Life Out) starts NOW. Organised house, organised budget, organised life...............

  • I'm super jealous of your bargains idristhedragon I love Yankee candles, that's so cheap for two of them, well done.

I also got a sewing machine this Christmas, with the ambition of making some things to sell on ebay, I love the idea of making things, however doing this is another story :-)
I will stop spending on things I don't need

    Lloyds TSB CC - £3577/£3650, HSBC CC - £2425/£2621, VIRGIN CC - £5349/£5405, BARCLAY'S CC - £3700, HALIFAX - £109/£199

Pay off all your debt by Christmas 2012 - number #145 £608.00/£15,313
  • Ok so this post is full of good and bad news.

Today being the 1st working day means some of my dd's have gone thru so I can update my debt figure.

The bad news is that I have severely overspent this Xmas and have incurred £80 of fees for going over my overdraft. To make sure my other dd's go thru I have had to borrow money from our joint account on the basis that my things on eBay will sell and I can put the money back.

I am so annoyed at myself as I knew this would happen if I kept spending, but carried on spending.
Im also worried if my eBay items dont sell for much, just gotta keep my fingers crossed!

Well my lloyds loan dd has gone thru and my barclaycard dd but I am only going to include my loan for now as I have a feeling I will have to use my barclaycard this month to get by. So my new total is:

    #114 £393.20 / £15,962.80
:xmastree:Pay all your debt by Xmas 2012:xmastree:

    ........:xmassmile#114 £1,530.61/£15.962.80:xmassmile.......
