They will offer a fast upgrade package thingybob but that just means you have to pay them for the rest of your contract in a lump sum to enable your upgrade.
So either way, they want a ton of money out of you before letting you upgrade!
I must be the same as you then as I can only upgrade a month early... They are the smiling assassins...:mad::mad:New Debt Journey: Pay off £19,622.91 by 30th April 2015 :T

My boyfriends bills were over £100 per month at one point, I think you have to spend over £1500 or something in a year to get the really early upgrade. It's worth a call but they are likely to want lots of money.
Oh, and well done on making a decision about the loan. Whatever anyone would have done, you needed to make the decision that was right for you and as long as you are happy then that is all that mattersBecame Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

Calamine is horrid for chicken pox, as it's really drying and although initially soothing actually makes the spots worse, and also can make scarring worse as it's so drying. I'd recommend dabbing lavender oil on the spots, it's antibacterial and also very soothing, and also moisturising so stops the itching and also reduced scarring.
If that's too "hippy arty-farty" for youthen you can buy from the chemist a calamine cream that has moisturising cream mixed in.
Other good remedies are a warm bath with either sodium bicarb in, or a handful or two of porridge oats, both are very soothing on the skin. Seriously, google them. Especially the bicarb.
Hope you manage to get some of these, I guarantee a better night. xx
:eek::eek::eek: OMG!! I never knew that!!:eek::eek::eek: no wonder shes crying every time I go near her with the bottleI havent put anything on them at all today I I just couldnt face the huge tears and screams, just chucked a fair few light cotton layers on her to make it harder for her to get to them and tbh its working. Shes only moaning about the one on her finger . . . it seems its hurting 5 jelly monkeys worth :rotfl: so shes now dancing in front of the tv eating them.
I think i'll just throw that bottle away, its been 7 years since I last had to deal with chicken pox, im amazed at how much i've forgotten, when Jake had them he just wanted to sleep on my belly all day
Will ring my mum and see if shes got any lavender oil and will def try the bicarb bath (or porridge oats depending on whats in the cupboard :rotfl:) tonight and see what happens.
Thank you very very much, you are now my new best friend, tell me off earlier next time :rotfl:SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -
Hi All - not been around for a while....all work and no play makes 'May' a very boring girl
I've had a quick read back and have to smile at how diverse the chat on this thread is....new babies, chicken pox, knee high boots and used undies to name but a few topics....hilarious :rotfl:
jakes-mum - I hope Lily starts to feel better soon x
kerri - Congrats on becoming an aunty :j - hope grumpy OH wakes up in a better mood
No real headlines on the debt busting front....Jan was very 'lean' so I was able to throw an extra £150 at the debt at month end. Not so sure Feb will be quite so straight forward.....I've already had one naughty spend, 2 pairs of boots in the T3sco sale....but in my defence they were a real bargain £15 for one pair and £12 for the other
Anyway my Cap One statement arrived last week so my new total is:
#046 - £3065/£14,128
Well done to everyone on your continued success....the opening posts on this thread make great reading :T
Will update again soon - but in the meantime take care and keep warm xxLBM Aug '07 Debt [STRIKE]£52,615[/STRIKE] DEBT FREE Aug '12 :jCap One CC £[STRIKE]5000[/STRIKE]/£0 - HSBC CC £[STRIKE]7500[/STRIKE]/£0 - HSBC Loan £[STRIKE]12,225[/STRIKE]/£0M&S CC £[STRIKE]11,500[/STRIKE]/£0 - Egg CC £[STRIKE]8750[/STRIKE]/£0 - Sains CC £[STRIKE]3000[/STRIKE]/£0HMRC £[STRIKE]3140[/STRIKE]/£0 - OD £[STRIKE]1500[/STRIKE]/£0Pay off ALL your debt by Xmas 2012 £14,128/£14,128 :j0 -

As a member of the chemist gang thats pretty much what we recommend anyway (aqueous and calamine cream and if you keep in the fridge its really cooling and can be used for sunburn and all sorts) - hadnt heard of actual porridge oats before but you can get a cream made out of them also from the chemists. Morning all!
Crikey! I go away for a few days and there's over 15 pages to catch up on. Have read them all but not sure how much information I have actually digested. Hugs to everyone who needs them or is feeling ill or has loved ones feeling ill. COngrats on the debt-busting, new baby, bingo wins and fleabay successes.
No debt-busting to announce, lost track of my spends this past week with transferring money over to DH's account etc. Hoping I will be able to pay off some more before payday.
Not snowy here, just damp and slushy out, so having a day in lounging around.0 -
