Morning all, I let OH pretend to be asleep for a good half hour last night before making so many huffing noises he had to pay me attention. Apparently he didn't like that he was expected to be bored for 15mins because I wanted to watch my show. All well and good now as I explained he was being completely irrational :)
Ooh and on a debt busting front I have items with bids on fleabay :D

Wow hun that is an absolutely fantastic amount paid off!!! Over 50% already we are only at the beginning of Feb... Just shows what great things can be achieved when we're in the right frame of mind and join forces as a team :T:T:T I cannot wait to see my % that high but it will be a few months yet...! Proud of myself and everyone on here :A
My boyfriends bills were over £100 per month at one point, I think you have to spend over £1500 or something in a year to get the really early upgrade. It's worth a call but they are likely to want lots of money.

Oh, and well done on making a decision about the loan. Whatever anyone would have done, you needed to make the decision that was right for you and as long as you are happy then that is all that matters :)

It wasn't an easy decision I can tell you but it's definitely the right one. I did notice though that on the printout they gave me showing the rebate that I need to give them 30days notice for early repayment??? How can it be that I can cancel my loan with my car just by paying on the day with my debit card yet closing my loan early with a bank, I need to give them 30days notice in writing?!!!

Re the phone, I've lasted this long without a decent mobile so I should be able to last another 3.5months until I can upgrade for free. It's just a pain having to always go on my laptop to look at this site or myfitnesspal etc...

    Morning all!

Crikey! I go away for a few days and there's over 15 pages to catch up on.

Not snowy here, just damp and slushy out, so having a day in lounging around.

Only 15 pages...? We're slacking! :rotfl:

How can you not have snow when you live over the next hill?! I'm snowed in! Sooooo jealous....!

Hurray!!! He's bogged off to work :rotfl: gone without his bloomin sandwiches so i'll have to chuck them in the bin as no one else likes cheese and pickle  Its just been a long run off c0ck ups on his behalf. Goes off to Jakes karate test with no way to pay, takes the shed keys with him so I cant get his jumper in the dryer which he wanted me to do as he wanted to leave earlier cos of the snow, throws a snowball in lilys face  (accidently I might add, he was aiming from the bedroom window at Jake who moved :rotfl:) . . . oh i'll leave it there or i'll just work myself up :rotfl:

Lily has been out in the back garden with Jake and I now have a 3ft high snowman in the back garden sporting a couple of bits of slate nicked from the flower bed and a carrot. Much better than last year where we had a 1ft mound after they both insisted there was enough snow to build a snowman and spent 40 minutes trying to scrape every bit in the garden together to make one . . I do have pictures :rotfl: :rotfl:

I havent given her any piriton as I dont have any, OMG im a carp mum, your lucky if ive got calpol somethimes  im really hoping we are over the worst as shes hardly whinging at all, just seems to be when she remembers and is currently enjoying a huge chocolate and banana milkshake

    Calories burned with Shoveling Snow

    By Hand

    408 calories per hour

Assuming a body weight of: 150 lbs

Jakes mum, So glad I'm not the only crap mum! Mine came back after 3 1/2 hours in the snow. He's finally defrosted after 30 mins on the settee!
  • Sounds good for Miss Lily. Hopefully playing in the snow will tire her out and she will sleep better. Sounds like they are having a great time. Mine have been round the estate on the sledge. Even the dogs have had a go on it. DS said Wilf sat lovely on the sledge, I suspect that he was too terrified to move.:rotfl:

Snow is melting here and didn;t have too much of it either. DH text me to say that he had got to work ok as it hadnt froze last night so roads were better than when he came home last night. The councils have only known since Monday from weather reports and had an amber snow warning, yet they did not grit.:mad:

Done some ironing so the pile looks better and the washing basket is empty. :T:T:T

    Have a good afternoon
