I maay have celebrated my going round the SMs going "nooo it's cheaper here, nooo that's WAY overpriced" by buying a dine in for 2 for £10 for just myself
I did get lots of reduced rolls though, am I forgiven?
I've done another spreadsheet for the 2nd purse thread if anyone would like to bookmark it, I'm going through the SMs online websites picking out the "actual" offers rather than what they say are offers. It's opened my eyes to what things should cost, for instance 1 load of washing should be about 12p, semi-decent olive oil 40p/100ml, loo roll <30p each etc. I used to just go round picking stuff up thinking "I need that, that and that". Anyway it's updated by people on the 2nd purse thread and myself so please feel free to view it if it will help you save the penniesIt's here
Gotta love spreadsheetOff to clean the house and have my scrummy dindins then I shall be back.

Excellent... cheers Kerri
I went round Costco (very restrained, didn't buy a thing) noting down weights and prices per 100g etc of about 20 common things to see how they compare to other stuff (everyday stuff like bread, chicken, fish, loo rolls & kitchen rolls, spuds, frozen peas, tins of tuna, tins of soup, instant mash etc) so I'll do a little comparison list in a bit, I did start off barcoding and searching on the net but the phone battery was on its way out so I had to give up.0 -

I'd really like to say it was something noble or psychicness on my part . . . but its not :rotfl: im a control freak and extreeeeeeeeeemely good with numbershence why I trained as an accountant, nothing I love more than numbers and counting money :rotfl:
I always tell people that im a very confused person inside, im part Jewish, part Irish and I like to think the Irish part is trying to give my money to all and sundry whilst my Jewish side is desperately trying to hold on to every penny ive got :rotfl::rotfl:SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -
Evening all,
My new totals are £1360.00/£7873.87.
I am so fed up with Nationwide who have stolen the money I deposited over two weeks ago - Its blooming ridiculous that no-one seems to know where it is and the form they asked me to fill in has been lost TWICE!!:mad:
Hugs to everyone who needs them - its never going to be a smooth ride being debt free but it will be worth itPay off all my debts before Christmas 2015 #165.0 -
Sorry I've not been around lately but work is MANIC!!!!!!!!!!! I've got soooooooooooo much to do by end of play tomorrow and there is no human way to do it and all of it is PRIORITY. If I get any calculations wrong then I could not only cost our customer £millions but also my own company £100,000's this year... No pressure then! At the same time, I only finished Year End last week and on Monday we start Month End for January and it lasts 8 working days so in 6 weeks I will have been doing the accounts for 5!!! After month end is done though I am taking 6 days off for my birthday and sod the lot of them... Most of my holidays were canceled last year though so I'm not holding out much hope that I'll get all 6 days off...
I just have to say though that I have been reading all of your posts when I can nip on here and I know some of you have been thanking me for this thread. I have to tell you that I feel it is completely the other way around. I started this thread to help me have support to achieve my own personal goal of being debt free by Xmas 12 and I know that without each and every one of you, that I would not have done anywhere near as well in paying off this debt and may even have gone off the rails again. So I want to say a huge THANK YOU for being my daily inspiration and my ruler to stay on the straight and narrow. This thread would be nothing without the 300+ amazing people who are changing their lives FOREVER... I feel truly priveleged to be a part of this and want to especially thank my "regulars" (you know who you are!) who keep the motivation up on this thread. This Christmas is going to be epic and i cannot WAIT to see how much a fabulous group of DFW's can pay off in just over 1 year... LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!! :T:T:TNew Debt Journey: Pay off £19,622.91 by 30th April 2015 :T

Hello! Quick check in from Val Thorens. Having a fairly MSE holiday actually, it turns out we're fully inclusive and not just dinners so I've been able to make sandwiches to take out on the piste. Good job, because prices here are extortionate! £6 for a beer :-P Two days left, and then back to the grind. Hope all is well with everything0
