• 25 days AF please Shaggy.

Well I desperately wanted a drink tonight....I don't know why, it's that tricky time of year when everything seems like doom and gloom. I've worked extra hours this week and am soooo tired, cannot think of anything nice to do / eat / buy ....one of those. I feel like I want to put everything on hold and disappear off into the sunset with my backpack and flip flops and discover the world.....

And then reality kicks back in and I remember that there are 6 children who probably wouldn't be too happy about their mother finding a life :rotfl: hey ho

onwards and upwards.....spring will be along soon :o

ps I'm also looking forward to a small jumpy man appearing by my name tomorrow:j and there was absolutely no way I was going to jeopardize that one ;)

have a lovely evening

Debt-free and Proud!
The bells have been ringing loudly here tonight, but instead of stopping for petrol (where I would have been tempted to get wine) I have driven straight home and am having a cup of tea! Will have to remember to leave early tomorrow to get petrol, but think that it's worth it!!

So thats 3 nights for the SNC please bearacus and 17 for Jan please Shaggy.

Hope everyone is well, I've not had chance to read through but am home tomorrow night so will catch up then.

Take care,

Mari xx
• Evening everyone
Had a massive battle with British gas 2 Day. They sent me a final gas bill 4 £427 for 8days gas. After over an hour on the phone they agreed it should have been £50. I wonder what their next bill will be.
normally I would have celebrated with a bottle of wine; but I resisted. Bought some flowers and made myself a nice little arrangement.
x arrived while i was in the shower this morning. I was on my way 2 college so left him 2 it.
He came back 2 night moaning ang groaning. I was desperate 4 a glass of wine, but cleaned the kitchen floor instead. I feel very virtuous.:A

Well done to all who are on target despite temptation and stress, and good luck to everyone trying again - if it's worth doing it will probably take some learning before it sinks in.

Nothing tonight or yesterday, that's 10th -25th Jan inclusive AF - 16 days please, Shaggy still can't quite believe it :)

Have now set myself a target of not drinking until Thursday 23rd Feb where I will allow myself to get drunk after completing a work project.

Good luck.

Thank goodness you didn't run out of petrol mari or you would have really needed a drink!;) Well done!!

Sorry to hear that bells have been noisy for some tonight but :T for perseverance.

That's 11 for January and 2 for the SNC please.
• tonight was AF for me so one more for me please Shaggy!

DH has been drinking. says he's ill and he's going to "kill it with booze".

I've put on weight from having a few days drinking so I'm going to try and cut right down. when i drink i turn into a takeaway monster.
