    Keep going 41 :)

And even if you feel ashamed perhaps try and post on here because you will get support from others and it might help you through, rather than trying to cope alone?

    Hello All,

Thanks for the encouraging "thanks" that happen.

8 AF nights for me! Feel quietly chuffed with myself but intend to keep it up!

    Hello everyone,

I've not been very af since last posting, just 6 out of the last 12 days, and very scattered, total 11/15 this month. Must pull socks up. I won't be tonight as freezing cold, I'm having something to warm up.

Better than last month. I must meet my target though.

Roll UP Roll UP FOR THE MON-THURS :ASchool Night Challenge (SNC):A

Count me in, too, Mackeroo, thanks. Nowadays, I'm only rarely tempted to drink during the week, but completing this challenge will motivate me to perhaps have nothing next weekend either.

Thanks for your post, I rarely drink at weekends, unless I go out which usually I don't. Mostly people post about drinking at weekends, so happy to hear from someone who drinks during the week like me. I drink in the house, usually when alone with the kids, or sometimes when OH there. The SNC is therefore ideal for me to keep me on that wagon. Really appreciate your honesty and your post, hope you will continue to progress in your alcohol-free journey. All the very best xx.

Hi unself, 6 out of 12 is good and did you say 11 af days this month. I think that's pretty good going, we are always hardest on ourselves because we want to succeed. We learn in mistakes and failure too. I think you should be proud of every single one of those AF days and my goodness, 6 days in a row is good. I drank last on Friday night so you're well ahead of me. If you decide not to drink tonight take comfort in the fact that you will not be alone, but if you do drink tonight, tomorrow is another day, and today doesn't matter then as it is history. We cannot change history only the here and now, and when tomorrow comes that is the here and now.

Thankyou so very much, you are a tonic, without the gin of course. Feel I can talk to you all, no-one knows me like you lot.
