20/22 AF for me now please. I tried twice to post yesterday, with no success.

DecemberBaby, I hope you managed to silence the bells.
41, hope you felt strong enough to either pour away the awful wine, or at the very least freeze it in an ice cube tray to use for cooking without having to buy a bottle as an excuse (if I do, most of it ends up in the cook, not good).
Jak, sorry about the job, but do look into whether the sacking constitutes unfair dismissal.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

    Hi all

Reporting in with a no more AF to add - gutted as not going to reach target....
Had wine on Fri night, no reason, just fancied some
Then had date with new guy Sat, I bought AF pear cider, ended up buying some wine, and only had a glass! What a complete waste of what could have been an AF eve! He only had 1 beer as well - he is going to be soooo good for me :)
And tonight, finishing the wine as I couldn't throw it....

Haven't told my friend who is doing the Dryathalon, feel bad that I haven't done the whole month, but I know I haven't gone mad.

Think will have to join the SNC this week please mackeroo - make me be good!!!

Well done on all the AFness, so proud of you all :)

Reporting in with another AF weekend here making 20 AFDs. Very snowy down here and plenty of fun had by all including the dog this weekend.

I wouldn't worry about the few drinks you've had tracy, you've done so well so far, and at least you know when to stop.

Please could you sign me up for the full monty again this week for the SNC please Mackeroo.

Been thinking a bit about what I want to do alcohol wise in February, but I'm still unsure. I'm not really missing the booze, and like other people have said, I know that some of my 'friends' are uncomfortable with me not drinking. DH is definately up for a few jars on 1st Feb and then he will slip back into daily (or near enough) drinking. I know I don't want to go back to that, but don't necessarily want to give up altogether. Not actually sure If I ever liked the taste of lager now anyway. I always had to have at least 2 pints as the 1st one usually tasted horrible. I've had other friends who've said that I've come this far, that I may as well stop altogether. I'll have a think.........I did stop for 3 years in my 20's and never had a problem with it then
