Greatest loser - stayed the same, so it's not bad as I was off work last week and eat whenever I wanted to.

Back on regular meals now so hopefully I can lose a pound this week.

Well done everyone, it seems like we all have our ups and downs, but its nice to be able to put them down here.

I am very tired with going back to work, I loved being at home last week.

    Good night everyone

22 AFD and 2 SNC here. Just want it over with now!!
  • Just cleared very account £44.05 total, so chuffed. I will suffer but rather suffer than pay interest at 38% or whatever it is. Instead of shopping for satisfaction, I'm paying bills. Trying not to run up my halifax cc for next month. Drinking lemon squash no added sugar and its really nice.

Tesco Credit Card £250 £25 DD 0% for next 10 months.

Barclaycard Initial £241.45 0% for next 7 mths.

Don't wish the month away, because February isn't going to change anything. Hopefully, the good work will continue as if we can go without alcohol this month then why not the next. Sorry to sound so pushy, right what I meant to say is at least the first month of the year will be alcohol freeish and that is better than none at all but if you're doing so well then it'll be a shame to give up by the end of January. I don't know what I will do by the end of this month, I suppose I'm worrying that after the hype of the dryathlon I won't be able to motivate myself.

Reporting in with a second night for the SNC. I'm aiming to keep this level of AFness (IYSWIM) through February too - I feel really good not drinking so much.
    Trying to keep in budget.

  • Hi just reporting in.
19 AFD now and 2 SNC so far.
Wanted to share some good news, not that I advocate gambling, but I started off today with 0p and from playing free bingo which has not cost me a penny I have won £15, when I reach £30 I can take this money out and put into my bank.

We need to come up with a word to describe level of AFness, how about dryness, or saintliness, or similar word. As I'm a newbie to this thread you probably have already got a word to describe the level of abstinence from alcohol. Can you tell me what this word is?
