22/27 AF for me please Shaggy and 2 SNC please Mackeroo
Got an anxious time coming up this weekend. Going to see my mum and talk about some childhood stuff that has NEVER been spoken about. Feeling quite sick really, as my alcohol use was all about blocking out that stuff. Don't think my mum gets that, which is why she bought me alcohol when I went there the other weekend and ignored me when I said I was AF.
Anyway, normally when I have come back from my mum's the first thing I have wanted is to pour alcohol down my throat and numb everything. I doubt very much I will do that this weekend, but going to need to find something else to help
It's the lack of alcohol that is making you strong enough to face whatever it is you have been unable to speak about in the past.
You are not blocking it out anymore and you will be healthier and stronger.I had to replace my car, I got a tesco interest free cc with 18 months interest free period

AF 22/31
Have been thinking today about my target for next month, I am confident that I can say AF for January.
I have a party next month, and would love to have a drink, I will decide nearer the time.
Might go for 2 days next month where I can have a drink. If I can't control it then, I will stay AF for March.

41- the word you are looking for is 'better'!
Everyone else, well done and thanks. I don't know what I would've done without you guys!!!!! This is lifesaving stuff!
I went to the doctors earlier and ive been put back on my high blood pressure meds which is annoying cause I thought having stopped drinking, it would be better. I always thought it was alc related because I drank so much, but no, it's just high blood pressure. Bum. Nevermind, on the bright side I told the doctor I had stopped drinking and he immediately said 'don't worry about smoking now, give it a bit of time til you get used to it.' Which is beter than my CBT lady who said I was effectly hurting my son and I should put him first. (I don't smoke near him or in the house by the way) She's carp and im going to change her for someone who has a clue.
Anyway, today I've done a mystery shop for aldi and got a ton of lovely healthy food, inclding lots of yougurt which ive become slightly addicted to so im happy X
What I'm trying to say is that he just has to weather it out, his occupational health doctor said that it may just correct in a few years time as its not altered by stress, work, relaxation, drinking or sleeping it is more or less the same. If you've been drinking a lot hopefully this will have some beneficial effect on your blood pressure. If your blood pressure remains high, wait and see and just follow GPs advice, its bound to improve your health anyway.

Oh I forgot to say, I played free bingo today so didn't cost me anything, started with a balance of £0, won 30p in free bingo room. Used it to buy 1p, 2p and 5p tickets and won a bit more. Bought tickets for £50 game and won £30 so I made £30 out of zilch. The money will be put onto my credit card so £30 less to pay off it.

23/22 AF
Had a great day today, and have been tweeting like mad for the IF campaign, which 100 charities are joining forces for. There's enough food in the world, but not everyone has enough food. IF we all shared, we'd all have enough. Goog1e "enough food for everyone" to check it out. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -
Thanks for all your encouragement, this is obviously the right time as I am more clear-headed than I have been in a long time0
