Hi everyone
Reporting in with AFD # 3 please Shaggy.
Been another hectic day here, I have an exam that I have to pass next week so have been busy revising. Need 65% to pass and am only getting an average of 50% on the practice papers at the moment  so can absolutely NOT have anything to drink as it would make thing worse than they already are!
Well done everyone on your AF days, let's hope we can all keep one step ahead of those weekend bells that will be on their way tomorrow!!
Right off to revise some more, wish me luck!!

2 afs for me.
I had elderflower cordial with dinner instead of wine, or lemonade tonight. It was lovely.

\Another AF day here sop that's now a total of 3AFDs so far please shaggy.
I'm getting a lot more done in the evenings as I try to distract myself from the bells. Amazing how much more organised I feel too.
Everyone's going great guns - well done!Trying to keep in budget.

Hi all and welcome to all the newbies too.
Thanks MrsR for saying hi. Christmas was great for the kids but rubbish for me, the same for new year, but all three of us noticed Bill's absence.
Even this evening DS has struggled to fall asleep he misses his daddy so much. I've found it hard this evening too as i'm dealing with my own grief and loss and having to support the children. I have cried a lot this evening. I am so tired, but hoping a good night will solve my mood that seems to have set since this afternoon.
However 2AF's to declare please and i have been doing the SNC this week, well 2 days of it. I have been fancing a drink this evening, but didn't, I knew it would be out of habit and once I had a fizzy something the urge went away. Tomorrow I might wobble as I have a friend round and its the weekend. The kids are with their dad on saturday but not sleeping over due to me wanting to get them back into routine for school on monday.
Yikes, I've enjoyed these holidays, not looking forward to all the rushing around, working, clubs, activities, homework, chaos and feeling shattered. I am very much feeling a lot of resentment these days amongst many other feelings.
In February I am starting a support group for people who have separated or divorced. I am looking forward to it and I am really hoping it will help. I feel so alone with this and at times I doubt my strength to carry on. I know I will as I have no choice, but i still feel like I am surviving and existing and each day has to be got through.
I feel anxious when I have too much to do and achieve and my workload is too high, yet when the kids arent here and I am alone, I feel lost and lonely and anxious that I have no life either.
I need to build up things for me, but I dont want to struggle to stay on top of the house and the stuff that needs doing. How do other single parents manage it?
I don't want this life, I want to be happy. Sorry for the woe is me, I am trying to stay positive and not be a victim, but tonight I can't.Live for the moment and plan for the future0 -
Quick pop in with 2AF to report
Very easy, for now, even thou my birthday yesterday
Tracy
Happy Birthday for yesterday Tracy. That is really impressive that you didn't have a celebratory drink. I think I would have felt it was my right too. Certainly in a few weeks time I will be feeling like I want to celebrate with a glass of something. My birthday is on a saturday too, so not even the SNC to distract me.
Well done to you, big gangnam style!!!:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:TLive for the moment and plan for the future0 -
Hugs, cuppa tea. I popped on here and felt how tough things are for you at the moment and couldn't read and run. I have no idea how single parents do it. I think being able to vent on here is a good thing. Apart from that I guess it's best to take a step at a time. Hey, I have no ideas for you, sorry! No kids but in term of routines for stuff I have found Flylady a big help. I need to be more consistent but it makes me less stressed when I do what she says.
Wishing you a good night's sleep tonight; and hoping things look brighter tomorrow.
Waves to everyone else too - well done Jak! Off to sleep now.
Almost forgot, shaggy that's 2 for me including today.
Good night everyone.0
