What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

  • Sending you ((hugs)) Cuppa. As others have said it will get easier. And the kids may find things easier once they are back in routines next week. Christmas was always going to be a difficult time for you all.
And don't be sorry for feeling down. If you need to come on here to get it all out then do so.

Thinking of you Cuppa. Hope you are feeling a little better today.

Declaring 3 AFD now. Fridays and Saturdays are not AFD here so I will be back on the wagon Sunday. Have a good weekend everyone. x

3AFDs please. Went out last night for a massive chinese for DSs birthday and neither me nor DH had a drink. When they all went to bed, I went out again (well, I'm not back at work til Tues) and stuck to the OJ & lemonade. Wasn't bothered about a drink. Think I slept a bit better last night, but always have problems falling asleep. Hugs to all thoses feeling down x

Happy Birthday for yesterday Tracy. That is really impressive that you didn't have a celebratory drink. I think I would have felt it was my right too. Certainly in a few weeks time I will be feeling like I want to celebrate with a glass of something. My birthday is on a saturday too, so not even the SNC to distract me.

Well done to you, big gangnam style!!!:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T

Cuppa - As everyone has said, it will get easier, esp when kids are back into a routine. There will be lots of adjustments, I hope the support group helps you out x

Well done everyone on the AFness :j

Hi everyone, popping on with a new score of 3/29. Will be focusing on non-alcoholic treats this weekend - like a soak in the bath or feet up for half an hour with a good book. Have a great weekend, everyone xx

That site is a bit scary!

Not sure if I was ever an alcoholic as such but I was definitely drinking too much and sleeping has become harder since not BUT it always was, even when I drank very little, I've never been a good sleeper.
