Oh my Lord!
That is now 3 AF days so far..............really getting into the swing of this!!
Everyday is a battle however and last night I got to half eight with a sense of relief! If i'm at home, at around 5pm when I should be mixing a cocktail, having a stiff Gin & Tonic or pouring my first glass of wine I really struggle not to do so. My Other Half will get in at 18.30pm and always have something but he has an "off" button whereas my problem is once I start I can't or don't want to stop!
Tonight is Friday but will be my 4th night AF! See made a promise now so I can't break it!
Good Luck all and have lovely AF weekend!

Hi all
3 AF =£3 to cancer research
Sorry shaggy I can't seem to change the colour of the lettering, not sure if its because I am using an iPad.
Tonight I am going to get loads of old stuff on music magpie, I know you don't get much but it's all things that I won't use again, so just want to get rid, it will also of course keep my mind off having a drink.
I looked at the link to the alcohol/sleep page, I scored 10/20 which means I have a drink problem and should seek help. I honestly didn't think I was that bad, it did shock me a bit, but it is probably what I needed.
So tonight it's swimming! Music magpie and then settle down to watch one of my favourite films HOLES, I haven't watched it for ages.
Good weekend everyone

Well it's another AF day for me! 4 for the challenge and 6 altogether!!!
Yay! I met a person I met at a meeting today and we spent the afternoon with the kids. We had a great time. It was so fun! No wine and fun was not a sentence i'd ever thought it write!
Anyway, the party yesterday was predictably grim with Mummy's little angel being horrible to my boy and telling him he had to go home and generally shouting in his face. I managed to keep them apart as much as possible and told them not to play together when chaos happened. I am going to speak to school about this when he goes back on Tuesday and ask them to seperate the boys and also be more vigilant. If he's like this when I'm there, God only knows what hes like wen im not! Anyway, rant over for now....
Thanks again for all the most sensible advice ive been getting and the wonderful support xxx

Hi everyone AFD no 4 for me too. This is a struggle night where I will be put to the test. I have had thoughts of having a drink but put them out of mind as quickly as possible which is difficult with a house full of boys and a mad springer spaniel grr.
