Evening all.
Came in from work an hour ago quite stressed, fancied a wine but ignored it and just feel knackered now.
7 for Jan and 2 for the SNC please xx0 -
One for the SNC and 5/13 for me please.
I'm glad I didn't use last night as an excuse to drink the rest of the week now I've 'ruined' things.mrsrainman wrote: »Morning All!!
I'm all for supporting him but has he always buys enough wine so he won't run out i'm concerned that there will be some leftover from tuesday/thursday. I'll just have to wait and see i guess.
MrsR xx
Hi MrsR, I have a suggestion if he uses leftover wine as an excuse. Pubs (and here at the Bee Hive)we have a vac--u-vin wine saver which takes the air out and stops that leftover wine going off. Unfortunately it doesn't come with a timer delay - that would be great, you could set it in the morning when you feel strong - maybe we should pitch it to the dragons! We have been known to freeze wine too, and then defrost for cooking. But generally OH and I drink it before that point...
I think that there's a bit of both as far as your other question is concerned. I think I knew we both drink too much, and the more restrained I am the more I notice how much he is drinking. Plus I think it has made my heavy drinking seem more normal as there's two of us. I find it harder if he is drinking to be AF but he's trying to support me by joining in my planned AFDs. Having said that when I caved and ordered wine last night he switched from Coke to wine in a flash and was obviously pleased.
Sorry if this doesn't make sense, I was up half the night after too much wine yesterday! VV Tired. Sleep well everyone.0 -
