Hi Mackeroo, the grapevine gift I saw was of a plant and a bottle of wine @ £44 from "not on the high street" ... (the raw ingredient and the finished product?), then there was an idea of an olive tree and a bottle of olive oil. I thought they were good ideas but way over my budget, so searched online and found 2 x grapevines for £12 (plus 3% cashback) - which means I managed to buy the vine and the wine for a tenner. They're for my two brothers who both have lovely gardens, and like a decent bottle of wine.

What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

  • Hello everyone. Sorry I've not been around much, been very busy, very stressed and only 1 AFD to add to my pitiful November total!
Anyway, I'm not giving up and my Target for December is 10 AFD's please Shaggy.
    x

Ditto for me with bells on... Still catching up on the last two weeks on here. I thought of walking away but I think being here helps me. Missed targets make me feel bad though. 10! Eek
  • It's too early and I'm not eloquent enough to sum up all the emotions from catching up on here. Suffice it to say a big omg hugs to Cuppa Tea, wave at BHB and MarkMan and say well done to everyone who's hitting December into touch with lots of enthusiasm.

While I've been AWOL I got another year older and have only had 1 AFD. Lots of fun and no messy nights - ooh actually just remembered one worse for wear morning after. In RL something didn't go my way (didn't get job I'd set my heart on) and when I found out on Sunday I sulked and drank too much and went to BK on Monday. Last of the rebels me! At least I don't have a motorbike to go too fast on these days. Moderate last night. So I'm Job hunting again, the joys of contracts.

Warm thoughts to all in this cold spell, have a good Thursday everyone

2 more for tonight and yesterday, making 6/13. Nearly half way already.

Feel so so tired today, think its all the emotion, certainly cried enough buckets these last 24 hrs.

Thanks to everyone who is thinking of me.
