Ditto for me with bells on... Still catching up on the last two weeks on here. I thought of walking away but I think being here helps me. Missed targets make me feel bad though. 10! Eek

Oh no you don't!! You know you'll miss coming on here.:)

I've managed one more since I last posted. Had a couple of glasses with lunch out yesterday and just wanted to sleep for the rest of the day! Instead I had lots of tea.

    3 AFDs please Shaggy.

7/10 AF for me please, despite the wine in the boot of my car singing its siren song, which includes the verse of "go on, a glug in the casserole will be lovely, and a glug in the chef even better"

It’s not what you have in your life but who you have in your life that counts
  • Hello everyone

I'm back shamefaced to confess after all I said I had a bottle of wine last night. :( Even worse, I was drinking on my own. Nothing I can do to change what happened, so I've just got to move on. I'm now on 6/7 AF days, so my target has to go down to 30 days! I'm determined to have a sober weekend.

Also, thanks for the idea about the grape vine - genius!

    Morning Everyone:wave:
Wasnt AF last night but stopped after a glass and a half of wine. Pleased that for the first week in a long time i actually managed to complete the 'full monty' and a big well done to everyone on your achievements so far in Dec :T
As its my birthday tomorrow me and Mr Mackeroo heading off later to a country hotel for an overnight spa break , cant wait. Also feeling quite smug this morning as all Xmas cards have been written and all presents bought and wrapped!

Let me know if anyone wants to join me on next weeks SNC challenge
Hope you all have a nice weekend x

Happy Birthday too Mackeroo, hope you have a lovely time. I'll do the SNC, will go for full monty again please.

Another AF day, (8/13), feeling blue as the kids went with Bill this morning to stay overnight at his. Its not what I want and I miss them. Why is it he makes the decision and has the weight lifted, but its dumpted on me. Not fair and its me that has to suffer the most, organise all the paperwork for his leaving, give up my precious weekend time with my kids, feel abandoned, rejected and like I have far too much baggage to meet someone else (not that I want to, but I dont want to be alone either!).

Sorry for the moan, I am trying to be positive in real life and not be too "woe is me" and a negative weight.

Just not feeling the vibe this evening.

    Happy Birthday mackeroo

Cuppa - when my ex started having the kids for the weekend - I just went out constantly - I was sick of staying in with the responsibility, not being able to get out in the week etc etc
Thankfully I have calmed down now - well, it has been 5 years!

I don't have any AF to add - for some reason, wine keeps calling to me, and I haven't had a positive head to say no :(

I am going to make a serious effort this week - my Sisters Hen night next Sat - got to fit into the horny hostess outfit somehow!! :rotfl:

Fell - well jumped - off wagon last night, with 3/4 bottle of wine, then some brandy. I wish I knew where that stop button was hiding. Oh well, climb back on and fasten wagon seatbelt. Plan to stay on til next Friday when I'm going to a black tie event where the wine is provided. DH says he isn't drinking, so he'll drive. Some might see that as a good thing, but to me it means he'll be trying to drag me home mid-evening. I've told him I'm not leaving until Cinderella does! We hardly ever socialise (his choice not mine), and I love to dance. He loves to dance too, so if I can keep him on the dance floor we'll be there for hours.
