We are such trend-setters - keep it up, team AFD!!!! This thread has helped me SO MUCH over the past 3 years :j
  • Feeling not too bad today, despite no sleep last night. I'm always like that on my first af day. By day 3 though, I'm usually sleeping great.

Will pop in tonight. I have already said to myself that I'm definitely not drinking tonight. I find that if I commit early in the day, I don't think about it as much.

    Later X
    Need to start again :o

So many positive vibes on this thread at the moment!

I've been unbelievably sensible with my wine drinking this weekend, so feeling fit and ready for the week.

    Exactly what she said!!

Been at a big family party over the weekend and just sipped at G&Ts. Wine was of doubtful provenance so gave that a wide berth. I've become very choosy while before I'd have been pouring it down my neck, however cheap and disgusting!

Would you sign me up for 3 on the SNC please Bearacus

:grouphug: for you and your mum rachel.

well done all; I'm still on 4/23

put me down for the whole hog 4 snc pls Bearacus

over indulged with the wine at weekend, and drank yday which I promised myself I wouldn't, cost me a day at work as well. a brief relationship breakdown on Friday - the relationship was brief, the breakdown still pretty upsetting and has caused many insomniac nights, but I think I've drank him out of my system now and it's onwards and upwards. Am still trying to lose a few pounds put on over christmas so will make more effort.

Sending you :grouphug: nettttie you sound quite positive and things will get easier. I know it sounds trite but sometimes things happen for a reason and that reason might be that there is someone perfect for you just around the corner.

This is going to sound a bit odd but do any of you post on other threads under a different username? I don't want to know what it is. The reason I'm asking is that I want to post on another subject and involve family members but I don't want them to see my posts as CC as this thread, and other posters here, is about my journey.

I'm steering clear of targets till I get back on track but I do like to see those numbers creeping up. Many thanks for keeping score :)

Another AF evening for me, as i still feel poorly and am curled up on the sofa with a yummy cup of tea and quite happy to stay that way! was in bed by 8pm last night and dont think i'll stay up later than that tonight either.

Just dropping by to say hello. Feel incredibly positive (but not complacent) about everything today. I am beginning to feel like a new person - physically I feel amazing :j.

Fakeplastictwee brilliant news....just make sure you stay debt free now (that's the Mum coming out in me :)), it's the best feeling in the world.

Good luck big drinker :) - you seem to be doing brilliantly :T

Nettttie (((hugs))) life can be a bit pants at times....keep strong and smile :) it usually gets better.

Cleggie sorry you're still not feeling well, I never like being ill as the children still all want their tea cooked etc etc. Hope you manage to get lots of rest and feel better soon.

Hope you all have a great evening :)
