    Morning all

    11 for me this month

surprisingly for me I drank yesterday, DH and I ended up with tickets to a food show and so we bought a bottle of prosseco to share - very nice meandering around in the sun trying all manner of food and drink. Was in dire need of water and very sleepy by 5pm when we went home. But not sun burnt unlike others!

Hello, sorry I've been a bit absent and I've also not been very AF. However a couple more days to add and our holidays are almost finished and I think that once the kids are back in school I will re find my will power.

At the moment it's so hot here all I want to do is lie in a swimming pool!
    Trying to keep in budget.

    10 AF please Shaggy
Nice to see you back Cuppa and i really hope things work out for you and your family. You know where we all are whenever you hve good days/bad days or just want to say hi. We always here.
Am AF this eve but wasnt yesterday which was planned but once again i left the Stop button at home and drank more than i planned which resulted in feeling really rubbish all day. Will i ever learn?? I think its partly due to drinking alot less during the week and then making up for it when ive got planned drinking events. hmm will really need to work on that. I know its a trait of mine, 'all or nothing'. I have long accepted that i cant be a social smoker so packed it in 8 years ago. Im rambling now :rotfl: i need to go to bed! Nite all x

Strange this evening. I thought I might like a drink in the garden but ended up too late for that. Then I thought 'why start now?' so didn't bother. I've bought myself some decaff tea (acceptable but not brilliant) to have in the evenings in the hope of better sleep.

    10AFDs for August please.
  • 1AFD to add for me please. That makes 7/20 for August so far.
I've yet to manage to reach one of my monthly targets yet, but it keeps me focussed better than not having a target at all.
Also, I've just realised that I'm now falling into the '2 alcohol free days a week' catagory! :-)

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
