No, anything will doBefore I lost the 3 pounds I had just touched on my heaviest weight ever  It is an never-ending battle
.
I don't want to put on loads of weight on holiday, so I'm going to try to be very good with the eating and drinking. I just had to spend a load of money on new shorts because I couldn't get into my old ones ......which is also totally annoying:(
Anyways, I shouldn't be too negative 'cos at least I have managed to lose some weight so I know I can do it...I need to stay away from alcohol (and chocolate and carbs!) - too many calories.

I'm afraid I've had to come back here with my tail between my legs - some people may just about remember that I started posting in here around the beginning of the year, and I even managed to take all of January off drinking!
I hoped I could just go away and become a 'normal' drinker, but if anything I've got a lot worse over the last few months
Therefore I'd like to rejoin this thread, and hopefully stick with it as long as it takes me to become one of these fabled 'normal' drinkers! I find it difficult to talk about this, and I haven't really talked about it in detail with anyone in real life, except some jokey comments about never drinking again after a big night out.
Anyway for the time being I'm going to try and set a realistic target of 20 AFDs for July please shaggy. Fingers crossed I can do it this time - the fridge is full of fruit juice instead of beer and wine so I hope so!0 -
Happy July everyone.Good luck to everyone,
twenty questions.
1. Do you lose time from work due to your drinking?
2. Is drinking making your home life unhappy?
3. Do you drink because you are shy with other people?
4. Is drinking affecting your reputation?
5. Have you ever felt remorse after drinking?
6. Have you gotten into financial difficulties as a result of your drinking?
7. Do you turn to lower companions and an inferior environment when drinking?
8. Does your drinking make you careless of your family's welfare?
9. Has your ambition decreased since drinking?
10. Do you crave a drink at a definite time daily?
11. Do you want a drink the next morning?
12. Does drinking cause you to have difficulty in sleeping?
13. Has your efficiency decreased since drinking?
14. Is drinking jeopardizing your job or business?
15. Do you drink to escape from worries or troubles?
16. Do you drink alone?
17. Have you ever had a complete loss of memory as a result of your drinking?
18. Has your physician ever treated you for drinking?
19. Do you drink to build up your self-confidence?
20. Have you ever been in a hospital or institution on account of drinking?
If you have answered YES to any one of the questions, there is a definite warning that you may be an alcoholic.
If you have answered YES to any two, the chances are that you are an alcoholic.
If you have answered YES to three or more, you are definitely an alcoholic.Sobriety delivers everything Alcohol promised.

Morning everyone
Shaggy can you put me down for 16 AF for July please only managed 12 AF in June which im disappointed with but its a brand spanking new month and i plan to make more effort this month.
Nice to hear from you Bearacus, sorry to hear life pretty rubbish for you at the mo sending you hugs ((( )))
Shaggy well done on weight loss, its so easy to put weight on but a real challenge to get it off. After being all inclusive on hols in May we have decided that its not for us when we holiday just the 2 of us. Me and DH felt we ate and drank too much, just because its there and as a result oveindulged on both fronts frequently. So have booked another wee trip away later in the year, B&B this time.
Maman ~ what a great achievement for you,:T at times i think 'im normal' then i blow it big time, which is a reminded of how much i need this board for the ongoing support.
Ive got fresh bread baking in the oven at the mo, the smell is wafting around the house and making me drool! have a lovely Sunday everyone and good luck for the week ahead.xIt’s not what you have in your life but who you have in your life that counts0 -
Total of 24 for June, and target of 21 for July, please, Shaggy, thanks[/B
Happy Sunday, everybody0
