Today marks my 9th AF month and I`m not missing the booze at all !.0

Another couple of AFDs here. We went to a farewell BBQ last night but I was driving so had just a tiny bit of wine to toast the leavers. I am very grateful to wake up this morning with a clear head and feeling fine!Trying to keep in budget.

Morning All :j
Woken up to another grey day hereI wasn't AF last night, finished my bottle of Rose, that's a lot less than usual, so even though not AF it is better. That's it now though, back onto no drinking on a work night so am aiming to be AF Sun-Thur night.
antonic and fedupandskint those are amazing achievements, well done, you are both inspirational :T
gien Well done on your AF leaving do
mummy2threeboys Thanks for the good wishes, they revised really hard so hopefully they will get the results they need! Well done on sticking to your guns, hopefully your OH will help you along the way, it is much easier if you can both cut down together. My OH is much better at it than me, just doesn't bother him at all, wish I could be more like that, but hoping it will come in time!
missrlr Gosh that sounds like an interesting job, very busy I should think!
Hope everyone else is doing OKI am going to have a catch up day and sort all my paperwork do those little things I keep putting off!
Have a lovely Sunday,

I'll be the first on here today to wake up feeling fuzzy headed! The box of rose wine got the better of me last night and I finished it, meaning I'd drunk 2.5 litres in 2 evenings. I've just tallied it up on the Drinkaware website and my weekly consumption is much too high (even when I think I'm doing better than I used to!)
Its a bad habit we've gotten into of having a drink on Thursday after doing the shopping, and from finishing work on Friday to the end of the weekend, the kettle isn't put on at all after 5 in the afternoon(but we don't go thirsty if you know what I mean!)
I think I've been aware that my drinking was increasing, which is why I'm on this forum, but I've had a bit of a lightbulb moment this morning and I need to get myself in check.
My aim is to be AF on Sunday to Thursday evenings and cut down to 1 bottle on Friday and Saturday nights.
Sorry I've rattled on a bit.

You haven't rattled on, sometimes it is good to get it all out
You could have just described me in your rant, I have been much better this last week and my intention is to keep it up. I'm going to do the Sun to Thurs this week, we can spur each other on. Does anyone else want to join us?

ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
