    Morning all. Been a bit absent this week but I do have some AF days to report - just 3 but better than none.

    My Plan for this week is a school night special and we'll see how I feel at the weekend. I have a friend coming for 4 days over the weekend, but she's not a big drinker so that's good.

    I wish it would stop raining...
    Trying to keep in budget.

    So weak willed.........:mad::mad::mad:

    Similar to me, though I am not WEAK willed where alcohol is concerned, but I have NO will at all.
    I have lots of will power in other areas of my life, but not around alcohol.

    When I have that first drink, I want that second more than the first, and sixth more than the fifth, etc

    I didn't always get drunk after having a drink, but I could never guarantee I wouldn't get drunk after one, regardless of the consequences. So because I wasn't in control all the time and regularly drank more than I intended, I was NEVER in control.

    I look at it like driving a car - if I had a crash 3 out of 10 times I drove, you'd say I was never in control of the car, even when I didn't crash. That's the same with my drinking.

    Good to post and connect again with the thread.
    Hop your days are all great!

    What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

    No, I don't mind any questions Cuppa.
    I do often feel like a single parent. When I found this thread I thought it would let me see things from his point of view. But it's made me realise that his drinking is out of control and that I'm not being unreasonable by asking him to stop.

    I wasn't brave enough to show him the info from Drinkaware but I am still tracking his drinking on there. He's been poorly the last couple of days and I'm starting to worry about the effects he's having on his health. I don't want to be explaining to a child why her Daddy is poorly in a few years time.

    BabyR is only 10 months so isn't effected by it at the moment but she will start to notice as she gets older.

    To end on a lighter note, my e*ay listing sold for £24 last night. Happy days!!

    Hope you all have a nice tuesday
