No 5 for me today. I'm quarter of the way to my target for the month but more than a quarter of the way through the month!! Not going as well as expected
  • #7 today please.

    mumto2monkeys don't be discouraged,every NSD that you get is a bonus,but don't beat yourself up...5 is great!

mfmaybe IMO a packed lunch is cheaper, but I tend to make a big pot of veg and lentil soup which does me for lunch all week. The bread at work is free and I take in an apple too.Sometimes I'll have rice and dhal, but soup does me fine.It does take a bit of organization and it depends what you like to have for lunch I suppose...Fortuanately I don't mind eating the same thing every day,I couldn't stand having to cook every day or two days.

wannabehermit hope it gets better for you at work.Surely if you explain what's happened at childcare, they'll let you change the days?
  • Just stopping by to update my NSDs... 2 over the weekend puts me on a total of 5/20 :j , not so good today though, ds decided to announce he had a hole in his school shoe so had to make a trip into town...bus fare, school shoes and a trip into poundland, not good! However did get lunch in a cafe as tied in a mystery shopping visit so not all bad news!!

  • Soup? I have a great thermal flask which keeps soup warm for 10 hours so would warm it up in the morning and at lunch it would still be hot.

Ohhhh, do you know what make it is?

I've got one but the soup's only luke warm by lunchtime and end up having to stand in the queue to heat it up again ......

Rising I hope you managed to scale that pile of ironing

Yup - all done:D - but a new lot is brewing on the airer!
I had my induction for work over the weekend. Came out Sat feeling really positive, really looking forward to getting in there today. Came out of there yesterday really peed off at yet another time of being messed around and them not doing what they said and finding out that actually they don't want me to start until Weds, so childcare paid for for today & tomorrow that isn't needed. Worried that I've already been chalked up as a pain in the bum and all this hassle that has been surrounding it is going to put me in a bad position when I go in and start properly. :(

Awwww ((((hugs)))) they should've been clear on your start date if it didn't follow straight on from the induction :( I'd be feeling a bit p'd too.....

Anyway, No 5 today which sadly is my highlight & really only good thing that's happened ..... (another bad work day here too:()
