Just reporting in with NSD #7 and 3 in a row so far.

May just get another one today I have an ebay parcel to post but as the buyer pays the postage I don't count it as a spend. So as long as I can resist the chocolate in the Post Office all will be well

Very quiet day yesterday, made soup for my packed lunches this week and just chilled and read my book.

I'm so lax at reading/posting on a weekend, must try harder!

I would like to report NSD #4 for yesterday please! Not sure about today yet; the only thing I have planned for my lunchbreak is going to the bank to complain about the shocking charges they put on my account on Friday (which were allegedly cancelled at the beginning of December!), but we need some bits and bobs - may leave those till butcher visit day tomorrow though!

Today WILL be a NSD I'm sure - as I've worked out that once I pay for DD's guitar lessons, I'll have £80 left for the remainder of the month for food, petrol and general stuff. Thankfully the bills are all accounted for and the car is 3/4 full of petrol.

Hi Spoon,

Just wanted to say thanks for the encouragement and for doing such long posts - it must take you ages!!:T

Someone asked if things take longer when you are trying to be MSE and I think they do a bit. I am finding that changing my thought patterns is taking time too. Having to think about when and where I spend money for instance, whereas I haven't thought that deeply about it before . Anyhow my OH is fully on board too so we are helping eachother!!

Not sure if today is an NSD day for me because I am working later, but I will try to avoid the temptation of the coffee shop

So far so good today - I've brought my lunch from home, left my money at home and resisted the bacon buttie run! Looking good for a NSD Tonight is usually my night in front of the TV as well so no opportunity to spend as long as I stay away from the computer!

Thanks for the encourangement Spoon - though my NSDs in a row are severely limited by the at least weekly need for petrol
