Last night as part of my Reductions Megahaul I picked up some puff pastry which was a mere 15p. I've never done anything with pastry in my life....what can I use it for??!
- I used the whizzed up left-over veg to keep it moist (but not dripping wet)
- Cut out circles using a small plate/bowl,
- Put some stuff in the middle just off centre
- Fold over one half and stick to the other edge using egg & milk mix. Crimped the edges too to make sure nothing escapes
- Make a couple of holes in the top to allow steam to escape, then wash with more egg/milk.
- Cook in hottish oven until golden
Before I forget, NSD no 3 today :j. Hope to nab another tomorrow.
Enjoy the rest of the day folks x

OOh - unexpectedly another NSD today!! So that's #3 - and I really didn't have to try too hard. Went into town to the gym and the library - and resolutely didn't go into any shops! Despite DH inviting a friend to supper what we have will feed three easily, so no need for a food spend either! Now if I could just manage tomorrow as well....Resolution:
Think twice before spending anything!0 -
I likes it here, think I'll hang around
NSD #4
For the beginning of the month this is truly unheard of
I just transferred £100 into my savings account. (actually just did a little dance there)
I WILL leave it there. That is my weekend away with my husband (who I haven't seen for nearly 3 months, and he'll be home the day after Valentines day) boy do I need that weekend away!

Another NSD today :j however, still haven't bought anything for bro in law's birthday which is on the 9th . I'm lacking ideas and am tempted to just stick a fiver in the envelope
So that makes 5 NSDs in a row :j0 -
