Right - got my coffee, got my security key, I'm going in...
YES!! I always feel a bit sick logging on as all my statements are now online so it makes it much easier to stick my head in the sandI find it much easier to avoid it now I've got a security key as well as it's so much more effort to log on! I decided to set up text alerts on my account to force me to know how much I've got in there and every single payment in and out. No more head in sand for me
Hoping for another NSD today! Little Legs has chickenpox so it's a great excuse not to go out anywhere. Need to shift some boxes to my new house but that would mean I'd have to get petrol so I'm refusing to do that today :rotfl:June wins: Benga tixJuly wins: Advent book:j0 -
Hello!
Well as I expected yesterday wasn't a NSD as I had my first Slimming World meeting, I'm very excited to get started.
Today won't be one either as need to go stock up on healthy foods.
Tomorrow we are going to cinema, so defo no NSD
Saturday we are going for a big hillwalk, i'm hoping to get first NSD then but something might pop up.
Will let you all know!

Oooohhh - that's a good idea! Will go back on and have a ferret around later, see if my little old PAYG phone will work for that. Mind you, dropping it on its head on a concrete floor a couple of weeks ago seems to have made it a bit surly at the moment...
Hope Little Legs gets well soon:)"If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together... there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we're apart... I'll always be with you. "

Morning all
A quick stop by this morning as I've got a busy afternoon ahead and deadlines to meet so spending too much time on here is out of the question [where is willpower when I need it:D]
Anyway, it should be my third NSD today as I'm not expecting to leave the computer and Amazon is out of bounds.
Will report back later if I hit number three.
Good luck all, on your personal challenges and I hope you all have a good afternoonDear Lord, I am calling upon you today for your divine guidance and help. I am in crisis and need a supporting hand to keep me on the right and just path. My mind is troubled but I will strive to keep it set on you, as your infinite wisdom will show me the way to a just and right resolution. Amen.0 -
Happy New Year everyone! :hello:
Thanks for running the challenge this month Spoon :T
Hope you all had a great Christmas and avoided the sales better than me! Although I'm quite pleased that I got some nice things from the sales and didn't spend any money from my bank - it was all paid for with cash I'd been given for my birthday and for Christmas! SO thank you to all my relatives!
I managed to hit Decembers target (helped by me not doing an awful lot over Christmas) so have decided that I'll go with 12 again for January. I have already nabbed NSDs #1 and 2 on New years day and yesterday so am pleased with my start - just need to keep it up and try and be nore organised this year - getting money prepared for planned spends would help grab a few more NSDs.
Spendy day today - if I want to get to work tomorrow I'm going to need some petrol
Hopefully tomorrow will be NSD though.
Good luck everyone! No more buying books Books in 2016 = 20.
Target for 2018 = 7/21
No more buying DVDs ? 2018 target 27/52

Hello, I'm declaring nsds 2&3 please. I didn't go out as expected on Tuesday, there was no way I was going to be able to push the pushchair through the wind, so got 2nd nsd then, spent yesterday on bits & bobs that we needed plus got cash for buses and childcare so that's the spends for those out of the way. And today will be another nsd. :j
Had a result with our holiday. We're going away to Great Yarmouth in May for a week, we booked it ages ago last year was £725, reduced to £362 with an 'early booking discount'. I was having a nose on the Haven website yesterday and the same holiday is now £303 with a 50% discount. Therefore taking the total cost to £606. So I phoned them up today to complain about it and they are now giving us the holiday for £303 instead of £362. :j
