Thanks for the suggestions everyone:beer: I'll probably end up freecycling them I think, as I wasn't planning on doing a carboot. None of the charity shops in my area still take videos otherwise I'd pass them to them. They take up a lot of space... Will have to go through them first and see if there's any I still want - some things are difficult to get on DVD or expensive.

Oh and money... saved lets call it #2 (my pound sign has turned into a #, my speech symbol has turned into a @ too will have to see if I can find where they've migrated too on my keyboard) by shopping at Jack Fultons instead of Tesco. Not very precise because I wouldn't have bought exactly the same things at Tesco it's an average of an equivalent amount of shopping.
  • I was planning to give my next update when my ebay sale was paid, but just had e-mail, they are paying by cheque, how rare these days! Anyway less paypal fees so that's more towards the total when it arrives.

Just about on target anyway with a few little other bits and pieces picked up in the last couple of days.

I think you should carboot them fractured, even if its just once before you give them to charity. Make a big sign saying 'fill a bag for £2' and hand out (small)carriers! Worth a shot and its how I get rid of most of my worthless rubbish. This is only good if you dont care how you get rid of them, if someone takes the mickey and tries to fit 10 in a bag, let them. Its an extra £2 in your pocket and 10 less your taking home!

Hope someone can help me , i put a deposit down on a second hand car (in good faith - on monday) of £200 to secure this car on the promise they would fix certain faults, gone back today and they have only fixed 3 of the 5 faults and the car has "appeared" with an additional bumper scuff. So I told them i wanted my deposit back as they had not fulfullied there side of the (verbal) agreement.

They then started with there bully boys tactics and said i can't have my deposit back as they spent this sorting these issues out, and were very agressive towards me I had to walk away as stressed out and was thinking if i stress too much i may well go into labour!!

I paid for this on credit card, and as they didnt do what they said am i entitled to a refund?? Cant afford to lose £200. And tempted to report them also to trading standards as disgusted that anyone would speak to another that way!

Plus side bought another car £300 cheaper than first one, so a little light at the end of the tunnel.
Make £0/£100 Feb 2016 (Late starter)

New Year resolution get bum into gear and get debt free

hopless, sorry hun, you need to ask on another board, not sure about credit cards and verbal agreements for deposits. If I have time will look later.

try this one, not sure they will be able to help though.
