  • Here's a question for you all, does anyone know what I can do with loads of videos I don't want anymore? I don't suppose anyone would pay for them anymore, but maybe I could freecycle them.

I'd prefer not to just throw them away as I have hundreds of the things (literally). And if you think that's a lot you should see my book or DVD collections (there's a reason I have no space or money:D).
  • Just a bit! My fees for December were £500

I need to concentrate more on decluttering I think thank my buy to sell. My ds has just turned 6 months old so he's gone from being content to need all my attention plus the teething doesn't help.

Wow Natterjack that is somegoing, doing all of that posting on here and looking after a baby :)..... phew makes me tired even thinking about it!!;)

£500 :eek: eeeeekkkk!!! But on the other hand it is good to be in demand. I will make my ebay debut at the weekend I think!

    have fun!

Could you try a carboot? If you have other things to sell then it could be worth it, if not its probably not worth the risk. You can get equipment to convert VHS to DVD so they aren't totally useless! And some people still have the DVD/ Video recorder things.

    no referral suggestions please :D

depends on what vids are for, my friend was after educational ones for her DS, like how to count and alphabet ones.

otherwise, yes try carboots, but maybe better off just giving them away on freecycle.

    Hi Fracturedsun,

My partner had loads and loads of these they were iled floor to ceiling and 4 deep in the spare room when I moved in . In the end (after some cajooling and coercing) we gave them to family members and a charity shop and any blank ones went to the skip :o. Not very MSE I know but we neded the space.

Some people still want videos, particularly older people because they are used to them.

    Good luck getting rid!

Late to the party here but would love to join and make £10 a day please!
    So far this month...

    I have saved:
£17 on a box of washing powder
£18.50 on the new rat cage
40p on bread that was on offer

    I have earned:
£24 switching my gas and electricity
£130 on an old phone (but that was spent on the new rat cage so doesn't count)
    £4 Heinz voucher
    £1 On topcashback

    Think that's it.

Sorry if I have got this wrong, I am a bit of a 'sign up for things' !!!!!! at the moment :o
I am so thrilled with how much of an impact this site as had on my finances in the few days I have been on here! :T
