Still raringly up for the challenge. Good luck guys - just think any spends and we'll have to declare it on the wall of shame! xDF as at 30/12/16

Hi loobylou,
I think I'm doing very well, today will be my third no spend day, with my only spends being on the 2nd Jan at the grocery store so I'm happydetermined_new_ms wrote: »don't we all love to live vicariously on other's tit bits??? :rotfl: day 5 and the only thing I have bought this year is a sewing machine going CHEAP on Ebay. should keep me out of harms way for a bit. Hi determined,
I love this ' the wall of shame', it's true though and I think it really is going to make me think twice if I have to justify myself.:o
Happy money saving folks.:T0 -

Hi rubytuesday, well done, but I'm intrigued to know what you were tempted with and resisted (cos I'm nosey and thrive on the details :rotfl:)
It was wallies transfers for the window over my front door.

I'm sure the neighbours have been subjected to visions of me in the nuddy over the years:eek: (and I am no longer sylph like as I was!)
Anyway I realised they are probably not transparent as they are wall transfers so I resisted!
I am addicted to Achica where they had them. Although they get a bad press I have found them excellent and have had some great bargains but it has to stop!
I shall stop looking at the emails of temptation! Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: ha ha ha surely on here we all have the bodies we were blessed with at 21??? For anyone who cares I am a natural hour glass, not a dimple to be seen below my cheeks, lovely pert and voluptuous bust and curves that make men swerve into parked cars as I sashay down the road :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I have just spent 10 mins unsubscribing myself from various crap marketing emails to save myself from temptation and also increase my spare time. Hurrah no confessions on the WOS for moi today :TDF as at 30/12/16

^ I've been doing that too, unsubscribing from emails as that's where a lot of temptation comes from!
I must admit to buying a few sale items online though... *the shame* I think I will manage better after January sales are over, there were a few things I had my eye on that got reduced...0 -

Hi spookybuffy, I think a few of these should be included too - the full range of emotions we'll be going through when we see the error of our ways, from the first realisation  :think: :wall: :silenced: to the acceptance:coffee:and the pledge to do better, and if in doubt just think 11 months from now :xmassign:

Well done rubytuesday for being strong, if the neighbours don't like what they see then get them to buy the wallies transfers, and if they don't offer to buy the transfers, then take it as a compliment and walk proud
Hi determined and Kirri, I've been unsubscribing too, amazonia were a real pain for all the emails they've sent me in the run up to Christmas.0 -
Ok guys, I have fallen off the wagon already. The shame!:o
I have spent money £47.07:eek: on the BHS sale online today and am half kicking myself for being so weak and half elated at the bargains! I did resist the oh so cute things on dotcomgifts sale though.
Note to self - do not browse grabbit. It will end in parting with cash needlessly, and ultimately, if it continues no new house:(.
No more spending, back on track. The wall of shame will definitely aid me:).0 -
