I'm pleased to report a 1 3/4lb loss
Well done everyone :T
(Sorry for the big font size, I didn't think it would be so big0 -
I was going to do my weigh-in today as I don't think I'll be able to post tomorrow (I'm out all day), but the scales show a 2lb gain so I'll try again tomorrow in the hope it looks better. I will confess that I'm on the verge of giving up on this challenge and just focussing on keeping off the weight I've already lost for the rest of the winter - I've tried so hard this week and to see no difference is just so depressing.
:(:(
Today goes:
B - blueberry muffin (the last one - I thought it would do less harm as a meal than as a snack); portion of dried apricots
L - pea and ham soup; two slices of unbuttered seedy bread; apple
D - RTC chicken nuggets, a small portion of oven chips, and a portion of baked beans (because sometimes it's nice to be three years old again)
Well done to everyone who's doing better than I am on the weight-loss front.Back after a very long break!0 -
Some really good losses so far, well done everyone :T
I'm afraid I'm not going to add to them
I've a 1/2 lb gain, so for this challenge I'm back at the starting point. I should be disappointed, but actually it was a lot worse through the week, so I'm just grateful it's not even worse
Yet another birthday today (hopefully just involving cake, and not a whole meal) and then I promise you all I will try much harder
If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?0 -
Caterina - boot camp? How on earth do you do it, it takes me 1 1/2 hours to get ready for the morning!
CCP I wonder if you're eating enough? Today's meals would barely keep a sparrer alive
sachatith I agree with finding some exercise time, I always feel a bit better for getting up during ad's in the evenings and finding things to do. I often do some step exercise (the stairs are in my lounge) and can even do a whole bowl of washing up or rinse out my 'smalls' between programmes now
Well done all losers, stayers and tryers. Pleased to report a loss of 2lb this week, I'm sure it's because I've gone back to pulm rehab class
B - spicy fruity porridge, the first this winter and looks like it's going to be a regular thing if the forecast is right
L - hm chicken & leek soup with a teasp of tikka from a jar mixed in. Lovely and warming. Cheese toasty made with WW wm and rf cheese, no spread.
D - mushroom omelette, sweet potato wedges
S - melon, 1/2 nana, celery & carrot batons - the batons are edging the usual masses of fruit out, nice and sweet and take a while to chew so quite filling
E - 1x10 mins done, more to follow. Sitting room furniture all moved - except sideboard which is solid sheesham so needs two men to move it! - skirtings, walls, carpet cleaned.
Just got to take new-to-me car back cos the elec window is playing up, how I miss my old car with manual everything. Except gearbox, of course. Whoever thought of putting a manual gear box in a car? Couldn't be arrised with all that faffing about!
Have a sunny weekend0 -
STS this week which I'm very happy about. I didn't expect to lose 1lb last week so the fact that it has stayed off is very satisfying. Obviously I still want to lose some more but there is no hurry
I spotted a new bar of chocolate over the shop, right where you pay for the shopping. Lindor. I'm really struggling with this one, it's playing on my mind. Luckily I've told all the people over there that I don't eat chocolate any more so I can't buy it:rotfl:0 -
CCP I wonder if you're eating enough? Today's meals would barely keep a sparrer alive
I must admit I sometimes feel the same about some of your days - it obviously looks like less than it is when listed out like this. I guess I must be eating enough - even too much - as, if I wasn't, I'd be losing weight, which I'm not. If that makes any sense at all!
To today's intake can be added a weeny slice of HM sponge cake, made with reduced calorie spread and sweetener. :A (Although, as the lady who made it said, the lower-calorie cake was rather wasted by being filled with lashings of jam and buttercream, but it's the thought that counts! :rotfl:)Back after a very long break!0 -
Terrible day today thank to a coffee morning at smaller son's school!
But... following a weigh in a few minutes ago on the Wii, I am now 12 stones 7.
So a loss of 5 lbs here. (over a fortnight). Please add me to your list! I'd like to be hovering at around 12 stones by early November. A long way to go after that but it would be a good start.0 -
