Morning all
I think I've lost my focus a bit lately. I had a really bad weekend involving a meal out, 2 desserts (not at the same meal), and wine. I think I've also been eating too much bread. Trying to get back to some sort of plan again. So today breakfast was porridge made with skimmed milk, lunch will be HM carrot soup with crackerbread to replace bread and dinner is going to be quiche and salad so that I can use up the last of the tomatoes and lettuce from the garden. Snacks will be grapes. I think the best I can hope for this week will be an STS0 -

Have a good rest of the day0 -

Am I right in thinking there is a weigh in here on Fridays?
The weigh in for the challenge is Friday through Sunday - if you are not in that then you can post weight losses when everMust use my stash up!0 -
Hello! I've been pretty quiet over the last few days on this thread, cos the weekend was mad food wise! We had lots of crisps and a bottle of wine each on Friday night. Saturday night was worse! More crisps, chocolate and cheese and biscuits, then had a Chinese takeaway for dinner on Sunday mmmmmm!
On a positive note, I have been continuing with my gym classes, so at least the badness have been given some opportunity to get burnt off! But at this stage of the week it is looking like another sts for me on friday morning! But will keep trying!!Save 12k in 2014 (my target: £10 000):
My savings: £4878.54/£7000
Joint account savings: £2685.57/£3000

Hello again everyone - just had a read back through the thread and congratulations to all of you for losing, STSing or just even sticking with it!
I failed miserably on the last challenge and haven't posted for several weeks as it interfered with my competitive eating training;)
Anyway I would like to try again if you don't mind. I am not sure when the new challenge ends but I want to try and lose 14lbs before Christmas (more if possible because I have alot of weight to lose). I weighed in this morning and will weigh again on Friday and post any change.
I have just made a big pot of autumn soup - butternut squash, carrots, onions, sweet potato, parsnip, lentils with vegetable stock cube and a few bits of herbs and seasoning (blended with stick blender). Have just had a big mug of it for a late lunch, and will have it for lunch over the next few days. I was cleaning out the kitchen cupboard under the sink and came accross a pressure cooker I had bought and forgotten about:o so used that and was really impressed! I feel like I have bought myself something new!!
I smiled when I read about those of you who are cheese freaks - I absolutely LOVE cheese - I have tried several times to go veggie but end up just eating mountains of cheese (honestly mountains!) so have gone back to meat eating. My favourites are Brie, Monterey Jack and Double Gloucester but I like any really.
For dinner tonight I aim to have a baked potato with cheese and beans, and maybe a side salad, whilst DD will have l/o hm chicken pie with chips and peas.
I have half a roast chicken in the fridge and don't kow what to make with it - any suggestions?Jane

OK, I'll probably weight myself on Saturday. Then I'll have been cutting down for 13 days. Should I come up with a target? I quite wanted to be at or under 12 stones by the start of November. Obv, I want to be lower than that overall but I thought that could be a start.
Not a good day today as we stuck to our traditional cooked breakfast after our dentist appointment!
few mini shredded wheat and ss milk
bacon, sausage, egg, fried bread, baked beans
veggie ready meal waiting for me later0 -

How about stripping the meat from the carcass and using it in a stir fry or curry, or make a chicken and sweetcorn pie?0
