Is that what you normally do then Knit Witch?
Have you got a lot of little dolls with our names on, and a big pile of pins, ready for the weekend weigh ins?
Having all the family for a birthday dinner tonight (not mine, don't send cakes!)...and even at the risk of being poked with a pointy thing by Knit Witch, I may very well have chocolate gateau
Off to shop for it now.
If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?0 -

Ellie just seen your health news, great!
Today a much more sensible 83.3 Kg still way too much but at least going in the right direction.
Not sure of full food plan today, but breakfast is egg, vege sausage and tomato, all lightly fried, small piece rye bread.
Lunch prob. a salad with mozzarella
Dinner some veg and chickpea concoction.
Have a good day all! Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -
That is great news, Ellie
Celebrate all you like, it's worth it!!
I am back on track today!
Breakfast: Bagel
Lunch: Carrot and Coriander Soup
I'll have some fruit as a snack this afternoon, and then it's HM pork curry with lemon rice and HM nann for dinner.
Does anyone have any suggestions for low cal/fat snacks apart from fruit ? I love fruit, but it gets a bit boring after a while. I have a real sweet tooth too.0 -

Have you tried Pink & Whites? Pink & white marshmallow between two wafer biscuits. 50 cals each, quite big, low in fat & very sweet. My favourite are jaffa cakes 47 cals and 1g fat each. Sugar free jelly is great for a sweet fix too0 -

Ooh, thanks KKI would like to stay away from artificial sweet stuff really, but it's so addictive! I quit smoking with relative ease compared to how hard it is to quit sugar!
Sugar free Jelly sounds like a great idea! Thanks0 -
Great news ellie, very pleased for you
I am off work with a migraine today. It was bound to happen at some point with the stress and I haven't had a migraine in ages.
Trying to get back on the wagon as I think I was not very good over the weekend and don't want to gain back what I lost....
B - banana and soya yogurt
L - some cold leftover roast chicken, leeks, peas
D - will be spaghetti and meatballs in a tomato sauce with loads of peppers and mushrooms
S - 3 cups of tea. Will try to avoid any other snacks but have some fruit before bed if I am too hungry
I think I need to go back to calorie counting. It seems to be the only thing that works.0 -
I'm another cheese freak JackieO, find it almost impossible to resist but don't have a sweet tooth so a bag of sugar lasts at least a year in my house, used only for the occasional birthday cake or friends who have it in their tea or coffee. But if I could have a fridge full of cheeses I'd think I'd died and gone to heaven!
B - F&F, ss milk, ff greek yogurt
L - Hm chicken and leed soup, 2 crackerbread for dipping
D - pork loin, broad beans, runners and Chantenay carrots from a friends garden, 2 tiny new potatoes
S - carrot batons, melon, 1/2 banana
E - 1 1/4 hours pulmonary exercise. Heaved, hauled, pushed and pulled a double mattress downstairs ready for collection by freecycler. Jiggered
Have a good rest of the day0
