I can't even begin to tell you how disastrous the weekend was
. It involved wine, 2 meals out, more wine and bread. I will be lucky to rectify the damage before Friday, I would be pleased with damage limitation and a STS.
Anyway.......... Back to it today.
2 x burgen toast with rf lurpak and cheese spread
Bag French fries
Asda king prawn linguine, (400 cals) fruit salad
Big bowl of stir fried veg with black bean sauce & 30g cashew nuts
1 square 70% chocolate.
I also joined the gym near my new work today, only did 20 mins as had to do induction.
Tomorrow will involve lots of veg- prior planning prevents poor performance!
May Grocery challenge £150 136/1500 -
own brand mini shredded wheat with milk
egg and mayo on HM bread
veggie ready meal
and just over an hour's walk!
Am I right in thinking there is a weigh in here on Fridays?0 -
Knitwitch please use the 83.3 Kg as my weigh in. Will update next weekend.
Today was an ok eating day, with a couple of treats but it did not feel excessive.
B. egg, sosmix sausage, tomato
S. 1 Ryvita with seed spread and tsp jam, decaf coffee with a shot of whipped cream and caramel
L. 3 fish fingers, broccoli florets
S. almonds, 1 triangle Toblerone
D. Hazelnut mushroom oatmeal bake with grated cheese, lettuce and avocado salad. 2 squares dark chocolate.
More sugar than ideal but still less than before and i felt reasonably in control, so not unhappy. Ideal would have been no Toblerone and no caramel in the coffee. Hey ho.
Exercise, one hour plus a bit of walking.
Good night! Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -
Breakfast: corn flakes, glass of orange juice
Lunch: slice of bread with chicken soup
Dinner: healthy meat curry with oil-free chapatti and salad
Snacks: banana, 2 funsize apples, handful of grapes
Exercise: walked 5 miles :j
Not a bad day todayOS Weight Loss Challenge... 3.5/100 -
I really hope the rain's stopped by morning, I need to get out and have a walk...have missed a few days and need to try and limit the damage I've done this week!
Had a lovely roast chicken dinner tonight...as I was cooking and serving I made sure my plate was heavy on the vegetables, but I do love roast potatoes(while I was dishing up my DM stood in the dogs water dish...she had half the kitchen floor washed trying to mop it up by the time I was done serving :rotfl:)
Also had a half portion of chocolate gateau with strawberries and raspberries...then 2 glasses of wine and some chocolates
I'll pay for it tomorrow...I'm sure when you eat a big meal it stretches your stomach a bit, and makes you more hungry when you go back to eating sensibly!
If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?0 -

Morning all.
Woke up this morning from another dream about food - this time it was sticky chicken kebabs, which are passably healthy and may make an appearance on next week's meal plan, but it's still really annoying to be dreaming about food all the time!
I am not going to get involved in any discussions about yummy, yummy cheese, except to note that I had cheese, ham and tomato on toast last night as I didn't feel up to cooking the meal I had planned (I've developed a cold which is making me feel rather run-down), and to say that Mexicana cheese is lovely stuffed into a large tomato and baked. Tomatoes like the ones which are nearly ripe on my HG plants in fact. Oh dear...
B - two thick slices of cheese bread with a thick spreading of butter ()
L - watercress soup and a sandwich; handful of macademia nuts; bunch of grapes
D - TBC - it was meant to be a beanburger inna bun, with salad, but I think bread at three meals in one day will be too much, so I'll have to think of something else
Frith - most people seem to do their weigh-in at some point between Friday and Sunday - I do mine on Saturday, usually.Back after a very long break!0
