I know I'm only 7 days in, but I'd like to notice the tiniest bit of difference soon! Huge headaches have finally ended, though.
Today's food:
porridge and raspberries
cous cous, avocado and a few bits of sliced chicken
half a veggie ready meal (son had other half)
a few chunks of melon whilst typing this!
Finally did a decent amount of exercise. Walked up (and around) an Iron Age hill fort so that took 3.5 hours this afternoon. :-)0 -

Not a problem hun, my pain means I miss things occasionally and a swift boot up the 'arris is sometimes required, being disabled I frequently have days like that (and when I was in a wheelchair for a while I did get the "does she take sugar" thing )
Must use my stash up!0 -
That's wonderful news (((ellie)))) :T
Amendment to today's meals as the restaurant - or rather greene king - has a new menu and removed all the 'Under 700 calorie' meals . So I had child's portions of Hunters Chicken with petit pois and half a dozen chips, and churro's with ice cream for pud. They were both delicious and plenty for me. Shouldn't have had the pud of course, next time I'll just have ice cream but the trouble is I now know how yummy churro's are so it's going to be hard to resist them!
S carrot batons, nectarine, slice of melon.
E went as planned, mowed, trimmed, edged and swept, then cleaned the mower. Ever hopeful I won't have to use it again til next year

Thank you all for your kind and encouraging responses. I am trying to eat instinctively as Molly suggested, I just need to address portion issue and sugar cravings. As it happens today was not too bad, ate more than I should have, but not in such excess or compulsively like yesterday.
B. porridge (1/2 water 1/2 soya milk) with chopped nuts a fig and cinnamon
L. Veg lentil soup with small piece rye bread, strawberries with yogurt and 1 tbsp hemp seeds
S. a few nuts
D. Stuffed marrow (with sosmix stuffing), roasted beetroots, stewed greens with tomato and onion, mixed salad, 1 apple with small piece of cheese and a couple of walnuts. 2 slices bread, 2 glasses wine.
More than a careful eating day but less than a binge. Also it was almost a zero food mile dinner as most of the veg and fruit were from my garden or allotment and the apples from garden round the corner!
Exercise: all afternoon working allotment.
Am wiped out! Good night all xFinally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -
Decided to be pro-active today, and instead of spending the day on my own, invited myself to visit SIL...4 hours of non-stop chatter
So...I've just got home and had a pizza and beer
In my defence m'lud...it was just a little pizza, I can't remember when I last had takeaway pizza, it's better than chocolate?, it was a bit of a medical celebration (benign! :T)...
okay, there are no excuses...and I'd love to say back to normal tomorrow, but there is *another* celebration meal tomorrow!
Back on track Tuesday?...this week is not looking good...
I beg to differ after that news this week looks fab x x:rudolf:christmas groc challenge:eek::snow_laug

Good morning all, I'm back from France and didn't do too bad although a few glasses of vino were supped
:) but I hadn't seen my big brother for over two years and it was great to see him.
Back on the healthy eating wagon again though and every thing will be more carefully monitored:) I did have some beautuful Rocquefort when I was there, but resisted the temptaion to bring any home, the cheese ladies shop near to my brother's place was open and it would have been rude not to have said Bonjour
:) but we only stayed for a glass of vino and a chat
my brother bought some gorgeous brie which I just had to have a small piece of
I told you I am a cheese nut
:)I have had my quota for this month now:):)
Today its back to normality
B: cereal,banana
L: crispbread ,soupcold sliced beef with some salad and a yoghurt for pud.
S:fruit.lots of water
E: Not a lot today as I am still a bit tired from my travelling, but maybe some ironing later if the washing dries
Well done to all who are on the healthy eating plans this week.I am totally focussed again after my couple of days break.I was suprised (apart from the cheese snack) how much less was filling me up.Perhaps my tummy's shinking:) (I live in hope )
Onwards and upwards chums
