    Happy Birthday WantToBeSE :bdaycake:

Up early this morning as Ds had to work and we had to drive home from the caravan.

Home and everything put away and a load of washing out blowing on the line. How sad am I? Washing blowing on the line makes me happy :D

    Food today....

B: 2 weetabix, semi skimmed milk, small banana, tea.

L: 2 slices of toast with spread & rf peanut butter, tea.

D: planning on doing breaded cod with oven chips and either mushy peas or salad.

    S: 3 jaffa cakes, tea.

Hope you've all had a lovely weekend xx

Sorry I had you down on the spreadsheet but missed you off the list - all sorted now :T

Knitwitch thanks for adding me to the list, sorry if I was being a bit picky but I was having one of those days where I was beginning to doubt my existence – you know the one where other road users pull out in front of you as if you weren’t there, shoppers try to walk through you rather than around you and just because they have a shopping trolley full of stuff shoppers appear to think they have some sort of priority over me with my shopping basket

have we put the crisp lovers off yet? :rotfl:

Not me.... but as others have said if I dont buy them I wont be tempted - just a treat now and then :D

I think you should go back to instinctive eating. I am a great believer in it as I saw very many cases when i was a practising midwife. Craving certain foods (even bad foods) almost certainly indicates a lack of something.

Perhaps you should stop listening to all the advice out there as it is all loaded. A little of everything is the way to go and that will also reduce cravings and ensure you are not deficient in any minerals or vitamins.

Totally agree Molly - they say that the Italians even with all that pasta have one of the healthiest diets in northern europe, I just think its because they eat home cooked natural foods, go by the seasons and have little of the ready-made/processed rubbish produced for convenience.

Happy Birthday WantToBeSE, another Libran :T - having a bit of tough time aren't we :( - my birthday in a couple of weeks I've already got some new year resolutions sorted :D

Although I’ve been eating out of the freezer for the past 2-3 weeks I don’t seem to be clearing it much so looks like it will be another week of repetitive meals that need using up – although today I felt like cooking and made a pot of soup (4 portions for the freezer – no wonder I’m getting nowhere)

B – Bacon (from freezer) fried egg & a slice of toast, also from freezer
    L – Soup & cheese scone - from freezer
D – Risotto with last of hg courgettes & lemon – cooking at last

Back to freezer/store cupboard stuff tomorrow, good job as I’m on a major de-cluttering/re-organising mission as I’m getting new carpets fitted in a couple of weeks time and I can’t expect the fitters to clear the amount of stuff I have kicking around
    Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61
    July - Grocery spends = £119.54
    Aug - Grocery spends = £16.93

A very late check in as I've been hoping the scales would change but I'm going to have to declare a STS

Hopefully the effort will pay off next week

Hope you had a fab day, WantToBeSE :)

I think I'm falling off the wagon :o I was craving something salty so I made some popcorn on the hob. From a medical point of view, I do need a bit more salt in my diet than most people so I don't feel too badly about that. After I'd had a bowlful of that, I started craving those big Snack a jacks rice cakes. the caramel ones. i should never have had one yesterday, it's been sitting in the cupboard for two weeks and I managed to resist until yesterday :( I then only went and had 5 or 6  (51 calories each) followed by a cheestring!
Realised then that I'd be miserable for the next few days unless I did something so I followed the binge with 1x30 min workout video and 1x15 min workout vid. I hope it's helped :o I did also walk two miles earlier so I'm really hoping the damage isn't as bad as it sounds!
I shall make a firm resolve to control my gluttony from now on. :o

Decided to be pro-active today, and instead of spending the day on my own, invited myself to visit SIL...4 hours of non-stop chatter :)

So...I've just got home and had a pizza and beer :o

In my defence m'lud...it was just a little pizza, I can't remember when I last had takeaway pizza, it's better than chocolate?, it was a bit of a medical celebration (benign! :T)...

okay, there are no excuses...and I'd love to say back to normal tomorrow, but there is *another* celebration meal tomorrow!

Back on track Tuesday?...this week is not looking good...
