84Kg but had breakfast and a large mug of tea and haven't been to the bathroom (sorry if TMI but it does make a difference). Depressed because am not shifting and not managing to be on a sensible reduction plan, I am eating healthily but the quantity I eat is just right, if I reduce it I am hungry. Don't really know what to do anymore.

I read what others are eating and I think if I tried to eat so little I would just not function. I know because I have tried. Am really getting desperate and on the verge of packing in all this slimming lark and let myself go, life is just too short.

Hugs Caterina, what do you hope to get down to? is it a reasonable amount? do you want to post a couple of days worth of food on here and we might be able to give you some tweaks to your eating plan that kickstarts the weight loss again.

I am not putting down that 0.5kg gain, you have all weekend to check in and it may have left by Sunday morning!

well done everyone - it's really hard to stay motivated when not losing as I know from previous sojurns into the land of weight loss.

Happy to report a loss of 2lbs for my first week - not been particularly good, but as I made very, very unhelpful food choices before joining perhaps my body is trying to cheer me on!

am under 13st for the first time since changing meds so very happy (although I won't believe it's real until at least half a stone has gone!)

I wanted to start using MFP but the only thing stopping me is the fact that I have no idea how many calories are in hm food. How do you all work it out?

Hi, you need to work out the number of calories for each ingredient in your hm meal. Add them all together and divide by the number of portions you've made. That will give you your calories per meal.

MFP also gives you the option to input this and save it as a meal, so you don't have to calculate it all over again each time you cook the same meal (providing that you are using the same amounts each time :D)

I'm happy to report a 1/2 lb loss this week. Not much, but in the right direction with no bingeing or feeling like I'm missing out on anything :D

Well done everyone whether you've had a loss or not, you're still here and that's all that matters xxx

I have sts. Not surprising really given my complete lack of willpower when it comes to food (in particular crisps). Feeling ashamed :(. Hoping the shame will spur me on for next week.

    Save 12k in 2014 (my target: £10 000):
    My savings: £4878.54/£7000
    Joint account savings: £2685.57/£3000
    Total:£7564.11/£10 000 (as at 26/10/14)

    Hi Knit Witch,

I managed to lose -2lbs this week... I was a wee bit worried about putting on the weight that I had lost on holiday but I obviously hadn't so I am still on a downward trend. I still have stones to lose but I just take it one stone at a time.. Here's hoping I can shift a fair bit before Christmas..

There are some advantages in being housebound... I am not going out to the shops and getting tempted with all the goodies out there and I am seldom well enough to go out for a bar lunch or such...

Usually I can manage about once a month... so as long as I make sure that the goodies are not in the house, I can't resist them... :) but I am no different from anyone else... I found a pkt of biscuits in the cupboard the other day and I had eaten half of them before lunch time... :o It goes to show that even after all those months, I can't buy stuff like that and only eat one or two of them !!! Only when it is chocolate... :A (Not white toblerone, though)..

Anyway, it's the long weekend up here... I don't know if it's the same down your way... so I am putting a roast beef in the slow cooker so that it will do all weekend..

I'm going to cheat and brown some onions with the beef and then add carrots and salad potatoes and then throw in a pkt of philly mushroom cooking sauce (I've had it in the fridge for ages so I am going to use it - it won't be too fattening as I am not eating it all to myself !!! ) and let the meat cook for about 8 hours...

I hope everyone has a good weekend... :)

    Hello All

Am reporting in with a 5lb loss

Am thinking this is mainly due to feeling rough this week, was planning pizza for today but have so far not managed to eat anything as suffering with terrible dizzyness and sickness.

Took dd to dr this morning as she has developed a rash on the palms of her hands and soles of her feet, they are not sure what it is but have given her some antibiotics, She also gave me something for my sickness.

Just hoping that this loss stays off next week.

    Well done everyone x

Glad to see you back! I am guessing you want to be in the new challenge (which started last Saturday) - so how much do you want to lose?
