    Hi everyone :)

I had a serious craving for crisps last night (must be all the talk on here!) but seeing as we didn't have any in the house, there wasn't much I could do :D

Woke up with a migraine, the medication has settled it somewhat. So no walking for me today, although I found some excellent videos on youtube. I just did 30 mins of one, and I feel better. I'm hoping to do two more before tonight so I don't miss out on my exercise.
Couldn't face breakfast and too exhausted to make anything so brunch was last night's LO roast chicken dinner. (1 chicken drumstick, quarter of a potato, 2 tbsp peas, half a carrot, 1 Yorkshire Pud, gravy) I'll probably have something light for dinner.

I hope you all have a fab day :)

    Hello!

I had a crisp blip yesterday...I was driving up the road after work on the way to teach piano and I was sooo hungry! And I was driving past a petrol station and just thought I NEED SOME, I NEED SOME! And I stopped and bought 2 packets and ate them on my way to the piano lesson!! This is the type of madness I am talking about when I tell you all that I have a crisp addiction!! Anyway, the good news is that I was at a friend's house all evening and she gave us tea and copious amounts on chocolate and crisps to eat and all I had was the tea as I was so disgusted with my behaviour earlier in the day!

Anyone have any tips to overcome this madness?

Anyway, I will keep on trying! Yesterday's menu was....

    B: Muesli
L: Chicken, mayo, salad sandwich, yoghurt, banana and an apple
D: Cottage pie and baked beans

Snacks: 1 jaffa cake, 1 bag of onion ring crisps, 1 bag of pickled onion meanies and 2 x wheaten bread with butter and jam

    Today so far....

    B: Muesli
L: Tomato soup and some white Belfast bap, yoghurt, banana and apple and a can of coke!

    So far so good...............

If you were hungry, had you eaten enough during the day? If not, then make sure you do. You are bound to be hungry if you haven't eaten enough (now i am reminding myself of my mother :rotfl:)

Keep fruit/healthy snacks in the car?

I might actually join in with the crisp ban that seems to be going on. I adore S&V crisps, and also quavers...:o

    Hello, everyone.

Looking forward to weighing myself on Sunday - on the Wii as I've never needed a pair of scales before. :-(

I'll second WantToBeSE...if you're hungry after work, you need something to tide you over until your evening meal. I can't imagine crisps will help much with hunger pangs, the packets seem to be half full of air! Something more substantial like a banana or a sandwich?

I used to buy local tablet (maybe add that to the list officeguru :rotfl:) and eat it in the car, I started taking apples and bananas instead.

How about not taking any money when you go out? Just carry a card for emergencies...you'd feel silly paying for 2 packets of crisps with a card :)

    Evening all. :D
Had a similar day to yesterday, healthy meals but probably too much of it, also still didn't manage to curb the snacking :o

2 x wm, seeded bread with rf butter & 2 slices chicken.
    2 pumpkin seed oatcakes.
Big portion of chicken tikka breast pieces, salad. 1 profiterole :o
Bag French fries, I'm not even a big crisp fan, eat them but never really enjoy them.
Big chicken breast with veg. 1 square dark chocolate

I think I'm going to turn into a chicken :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I'm not confident of a loss tomorrow :(

Can I join in the crisp ban please? (and cakes, biscuits and all the other naughties I've been eating this week )
Don't know what's going on with me this week - I've just eaten everything I shouldn't. I'm going to have to be very disciplined and just not buy stuff that I know I'll be tempted by.

LisaJane - is it the salt or the crunch you're addicted to? Is there something else lower cal that you could substitute? I'm thinking salty popcorn or crunchy carrot sticks.

It's awful, being at the mercy of a certain food, isn't it? I saw something on TV the other week which said, basically, if you have an addiction of any sort - sugar, food, drugs or whatever, you are letting plants rule your life! It did sort of make sense. It sounded a bit silly at first, but when I thought about it, it's true, because most things we get addicted to are usually from a plant of some sort. I've never been addicted to meat, for example, although cheese isn't from a plant, so maybe I'm just rambling..........:D

    Hi All
LisaJane i am also a crisp hound and can eat several packets in a row easily, and sometimes only crisps will do:cool:

I have switched to velvet crunch or ww crisps ( both from £oundland) i seem to be couping better with this then giving up altogether. The velvet crunch do a strong salt and vinegar and the ww ready salted is not too shabby

    So today
    B. 2 bananas
    L. Mushroom omelete and some pak choy
    D. Chili con carne and rice, small sprinkle of cheese and handful of cassava chips.
    S. kitkat and treatsize chomp!

Exercise walked to ww meeting and back, 4 miles

    I too am a crispaholic :p

My food today seems like quite a lot, but compared to the amount of bingeing I've been doing lately today feels planned and organised and I feel happy :)

    B: allbran, yoghurt, raisins, tea.

L: 2 slices hi-fibre toast, rf butter, 1 slice cheese, 1 slice ham, a little dijonaise. Tea.

    D: stew.

S: tea, coffee, 3 jaffa cakes.

Weigh in tomorrow morning, then off to Dr's for blood tests.
