Hello all
I'm weighing in tomorrow so nothing to report as yet.
Still feeling rough with a migraine - which means I can't do too much till the medication kicks in every few hours.
Brunch: fruit and fibre, SS milk
Snack: banana. I'll also have a small apple and a small pear in a while
Dinner: will be (healthy) chicken tikka curry with rice and lots of salad. Healthy because it's made using a very small amount of oil for 5 portions, mostly tomato-based.
Exercise: 1x15 min workout, 1x30 minute workout. Might do another 15 mins by this evening.
Well done to all those who've lost weight :jOS Weight Loss Challenge... 3.5/100 -

Evening. I've lost 1lb this week which I'm really surprised about because DH has been off work and we've been out and about so I've had a couple of treats, but I have missed a couple of meals too - just because we've been travelling at funny times - so that has obviously offset the cream tea I had on Tuesday....
I do hope it stays off, I've not seen this weight for at least 30 years!0 -
Hi everyone
Not weighed in yet, I'll do it in the morning. Feeling quietly confident even though there's been a fair amount of cheating (I suspect my boyfriend may be a feeder!) so hope I've lost something. Congrats to the losers and commiserations to the non-losers. Off on hols tomorrow so hoping not to undo the good start I've had this week.
Was feeling pretty low about the fact that I couldn't go and buy chocolate yesterday lunch time for reasons of both money and weightloss, but then I read Jack Munroe's blog post here and it was like a slap around the face to me. There are people in this country that can't afford to eat that need to, and here's me whinging because I've had to make do with a really healthy, really yummy, really filling bowl of vegetable soup. I've beaten myself up a fair few times for taking this healthy body and filling it full of crap and making it unhealthy, but never before have I considered how lucky I am to be able to eat anything I want to whenever I want to. From that perspective, it makes it easier to eat healthily, because I know I'm choosing to do it and it's not because I can't afford to eat anything else.0 -
