I wanted to start using MFP but the only thing stopping me is the fact that I have no idea how many calories are in hm food. How do you all work it out?

Morning all, hope everyone is ok.

I have been kind of missing in action, just had a horrid, hard week.

Somehow I have managed to weigh in at -2 though. Not sure how, as I have had pizza, chocolate and wine this week! I need to pull my socks up and do better next week though because I really haven't been very good.

Well our internal Ofsted thing is over this week so hopefully things might feel a bit less fraught next week and I can focus more on the weight loss. I have been on the treadmill once which is better than nothing but I will try and increase that and maybe do a few videos.

Good luck everyone with the first weigh in :)

84Kg but had breakfast and a large mug of tea and haven't been to the bathroom (sorry if TMI but it does make a difference). Depressed because am not shifting and not managing to be on a sensible reduction plan, I am eating healthily but the quantity I eat is just right, if I reduce it I am hungry. Don't really know what to do anymore.

I read what others are eating and I think if I tried to eat so little I would just not function. I know because I have tried. Am really getting desperate and on the verge of packing in all this slimming lark and let myself go, life is just too short.
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

    Good morning everyone

    I have a 1/2 lb loss today

Wasn't sure if I should count a half pound, but didn't want to say sts either :)...I will try and get rid of the other half by next week :)

    Morning all.

I will do my final weigh-in tomorrow, but look set for another STS, the second in a row. I'm just struggling to find even the smallest amount of motivation at the moment - like Catrina I'm feeling that life's too short to be struggling like this. :(

B - LF strawberry yoghurt; 2 flapjack cookies (I probably didn't need both tbh, but they were going stale so thought I might as well polish them off rather than waste them)
L - I'll have to buy something - probably a sandwich and some fruit, from the nearest available outlet as it looks like it's going to heave down any minute (ETA - it is heaving down! :rotfl:)
D - chicken kiev with tomato pasta - lots of tomatoes, onions and grated courgette and only a very small amount of pasta

Well done to everyone who's lost this week, and to all of us struggling onwards.
Back after a very long break!
